I really appreciate how easy the online process was to get the loan I asked for because when I had applied with Upgrade they acted like they were police because my friend was trying to help me fill out the information with them and they were telling me I needed to take a selfie of myself and with Avant they just asked straight forward simple things and gave me the loan without any problem I thank God they helped me because it truly was a blessing. it's a company like Avant I don't mind telling my friends about because they trusted me when all those other companies like one main rise wanted you to put your car up for collateral for the money you are trying to borrow then turn around take the money, you're trying to borrow payoff your car now you're paying them and in reality you basically refinance your car with them and you didn't even get the money you were initially trying to borrow either so please help me make sense of why I would want to do business with the devil I don't thank you again for your help.

Ok this happened mid August if I remember rite. I was is a jam financial. So I was directed to avant for personal loan . Now I always heard online loans can potentially be scams. Well i did think that cause they were very pushy and make a decision now. So I stalled them saying I had something urgent to do So being distant from them allowed me to look them up. And wouldn't you know it there a legit financial lender. People only said they credit division was so and so cause of interest level. But hey it's a bad credit 2nd chance lender. So I rolled the dice and told him via email ok let's proceed. Here's the part I really should of hung up. They requested my personal login info for mobile banking . I refused at 1st but he didn't flinch. So being in a I'm be honest now. I was in a desperate mode, just got laid off rent was due. So I became easy targeting now for them. Next step was they send my a echeck to my email so I can bring my account current. Then hurry up pull money out and send to them. So next I get email check. Then they blow me up now every 5 minutes. My next step was go to office max buy blank checks. And print echeck on it so I can deposit it . At this point I l definitely no I'm in some shady I'm cleaning money up or something illegal . But I proceed cause I called the bank that check was from. Well it's legit. Check number match as did account and routing. So 1st stop on cashing it w as Arizona financial, my personal bank. Atm didn't take it. Called the rep . Dude you gave me a fake check. He's no no it's good try inside. Inside the teller looks at me calls her manger, they asked how I got the check. So I was instructed by avant rep to say it was for job I did. My bank didn't even run the check. They just looked at me, now knowing why the look. Looking at me like you big dummy. So stupid me gives it the good ol 3rd times a charm.. Man things we can do when financial situations are no Bueno. Ok ok back to the 3rd stop. Now keep in mind the rep is on phone making sure I try try try. So I go to a ace check cashing place. Well took them 1 minute to wanna call police on me for a fraudulent check. So they had me leave asap and keep check. I'm sure I'm red flagged now at all check cashing places in Arizona. So was is fraud? Or wasn't? So I look at the pic i text him showing if it's printed right well i see the payee is that company who wrote checks out for apple customers early this year. Those checks ranged from 90.00 to 120.00 I believe. So I'm here in Arizona looking like a fool with this 1,350 apple check . I'm very lucky none of the 3 locations called police on me. And if they ever see my review please please say I'm lying or that this rep was using your company name. I have all documents to prove the scams avant can and will pull. From my experience they target desperate mid to lower income type of individuals. So who ever was willing to read this not so long review. Please learn from my mistakes with this company.

It takes to long to go thru the process. I have excellent credit and I provided the check stubs they requested and the check stubs shows about $20,000 a year more than I actually submitted on the applications. I kept gettting calls requesting more documents and I finally told them to cancel my application. It's a shame that someone with a mid 700 credit score has to go thru this much problem just to get a small personal loan. I would not recommend Avant to anyone who is looking for a personal loan. I applied thru Best Egg was approved within a few minutes with no proof of income and with a great interest rate of 10.14% on a personal loan. Take my advice if you are in need of a personal loan call Best Egg first before you call Avant.

Customer service rep was not listening, was rude. The app doesn't work. Will be looking for new card.
