I’ve had several loans from this company but this last one is the worst. The interest and payments are ridiculously high. I will not be using them again.
The marketing offers is inconsistent with their actions. They used "Bait and Switch" to lure customers on the apply for their credit and lower the credit limit even though they already had the financial and the credit profile. I would never recommend this credit card company.
Stay FAR AWAY from this credit card/company!! They provide ZERO protection for their members! I purchased an item, never recieved it. I filed a dispute and it took them over a month to even look into my dispute after SEVERAL emails and calls. I provided them proof that i tried to contact the merchant several times without any response and never receiving the item. They just told me "sorry we cant help you, work with the merchant since you made the transaction even though you didn't get the item". They don't care about their members or provide any protection like ALL the other financial institutions do especially with providing proof! They are a JOKE! Learn from my mistake and STAY AWAY!
They are extremely misleading.I applied for a loan to consolidate credit card debt. I supplied everything they requested a few things twice not sure why when I could clearly see online that it was submitted. My loan was denied. I have a 707 credit score. Not the best but certainly not the worst. I also have 100% on time payment history for several years. I believe the biggest reason was poor communication. Seems odd right since they call you every single day including Christmas day! What I Mean however is the people they employ barely speak English and have such heavy accents you can't understand anything. They also don't seem to understand the meaning of some English language. I wouldn't and won't recommend them to anyone. My credit card companies get to continue to make money off of my perfect pymt history and Avant gets to make nothing. They lead you to believe THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS that you just need to do " this one more thing" and your good to go. Then they deny you. They must likely knew from the beginning but they string you along.
I received my Load on Nov 14 and my Bank send the loan back the next day because of an error. Call Avant talked with a representative and she said that they need a copy of my Bank statement so I send it ,she told me wait 7 days. After 7 days I call told them I didn't received my load check again. Than they took the first payment of the loan 201.71 out of my account on Dec 16,2024. I called again talked with someone and she told me they was still reviewing my load they will send the load check in a couple days it's now Dec 28 and I still didn't get my loan check. What is going on .

The process was fast and very easy. Including the response time.
If i could leave 0 stars i would!! Had acredit card a zero cost credit card and got a letter 1st of November stating they where going to start an annual fee, so on November 15 I called to close and pay off this account. Thought everything was done! Nope, December 19th I recieved an email starting i had a balance due. I logged in to my account and had a 4.33 balance due. 34 days later they were still charging interest on a ZERO balance and came up with the 4.33 owed. I emailed and was told I need to call. I finally did and had to speak to 2 different people that had the escalate this case! I'm not paying this fraudulent amount owed on a zero balance closed account. I will be filing fraud charges on avant with Missouri A.G.

It was so easy and everyone was very nice to work with.
So I paid off my credit card and thought I was done with it. Then I went online to find out there was a balance from avant that I didn’t know they had. So I paid it and then they went and immediately reported my missed payments they knew I had so they wanted to keep collecting it. It dropped my credit score 50 points. This cc company is sooooo dirty. If your on the fence save yourself the hassle because These guys are as dirty as they come.
