The process was simple, straightforward and clearly explained. The documentation required was limited and the questionnaire easy to understand and complete. The final decision was less than an hour and a very fast transfer of funds. Excellent

I am guarantor for a loan, it was a very fast and efficient service but I do feel that the interest rate is a little high but, if you go with Amigo Loans it is a very good service

The process for a guarantor for a loan is incredibly and inappropriately invasive. Plus the interest rates you are charging people who are clearly in need are nothing short of loan shark rates

Absolutely dreadful company to deal with I’ve put an affordability complaint in with them as they didn’t look into my finances properly at the start of the loan was desperate to pay out within a couple of hours and WHY do you need a guarantor when the interest is higher than what you borrow. The customer service is HORRENDOUS they don’t care just threaten to go after your guarantor just as bad as loan sharks. As seen in the media last week only a matter of time before they go into administration along with the other companies taken advantage of vulnerable people!!!!

They seemed to have changed their lending process to avoid more affordability complaints. Which is good now, but what about all the complaints waiting for FOS to look at (and FOS has a 90% upheld rate) I raised a complaint to say they never checked I could afford the loan, declined after awful wait of 13 weeks. Sent to FOS. They are very quick to send you threatening letters once your in arrears I've explained I suffer from mental health issues as being unemployed but still they add stress.

From start to finish this whole procedure has been one big farce, each day you wanted more and more information despite been given everything you asked for. I seemed to be asked to phone you daily yet had 1 hour waiting times, you gave me a direct number to phone and told me to phone immediately to which I did, you were yet to inform me you closed 30seconds after making the call. I will never use your company again and certainly will not be recommending your services to anyone

Application process was very straightforward and acted on promptly. However, the txt information when requesting STATUS was often very much in conflict with verbal advice when phoning to check which was a little frustrating. We were also told that it was approved and funds would be released within 2-48 hours - which happened in about 30 hours - but now its saying that it will take a further 2 - 48 hours to clear into the guarantors account which is putting a strain on things! However, all in all, very happy with service and would recommend to others.

I was a guarantor for a friend and it took well over 2 weeks for them to pay out even though they had all my bank statements within 2 days. Plus my friend and I had to keep calling them for progress updates only to be told that it will be finalised in 2 days, being promised calls back and not receiving any. Not happy with the lack of communication

After checking these reviews on a daily basis to see how quick they are and constantly seeing email for an update or help so I that's what I decided to do. Not had a reply. I don't understand why Amigo claim to be quick but more importantly advice current customers or potential customers to email when they don't bother replying. Maybe if the company didn't prioritise replying to reviews on Trustpilot they wouldn't lose so many customers to Bamboo or other loan companies. Why tell someone we'll pay you out in 24 hours if you get a Guarantor who has a mortgage if you're not going to follow up on it?

Shocking, I have had a loan in the past with Amigo which was quick, easy to sort out and I repaid on time. Just applied for another loan, on Tuesday, had to chase at every point to check they had received documents because thir status sytem doesnt update, and each time was on hold for around 45 minutes before I could speak to someone. Yesterday held for 45 minutes to be told they needed my bank statement through open banking however I bank with starling which is app based not online, was told by a girl called Emma whose attitude was shocking, she would send a link so I could upload it but it would take a few days for them to look at it, got nothing from her, so just e-mailed it in. Rang again in the evening and spoke to Louise who confirmed they had received it and she could look at it there and then! Then got an e-mail later saying they needed various other infornation. My guarantor is my boss so wasn't going to make him wait 45 minutes to spealk to someone. Cancelled and applied with Bamboo at 9am this mornng, all sorted by 1pm and the loan is being paid tomorrow. Dont waste your time with Amigo! CAN'T EVEN GET MY NAME RIGHT ON THE REPLY! IT'S JUSTIN NOT JUSTINE AS CLEARLY SHOWN ON THE TOP OF THIS REVIEW! SAY'S IT ALL

Just excellent

The new system is painful and draining took me 12 days to get my loan and this was only a top up, the advisors I spoke to give me false and inaccurate information, too many people were dealing with the loan and through the full process I only received 2 calls from amigo all the others I had to call myself with waiting times of over 1 hour. This will be my last loan I will get from amigo very disappointing as the first loan was simple easy and painless. I’ve never felt so drained from a process I thought would be done and dusted

If I could give no stars that would be, what a waste of time sorting a guarantor to be told NO. your a payment behind!!! I would not be asking if life was good... What's the guarantor for if they just wana #$#@ you about.. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TO BE DISAPPOINTED
