The lorry that delivered the consignment was enormous and had huge difficulty turning in our very big farmyard! Otherwise the ordering process was very easy and I hope it will be installed easily.

I ordered some replacement underfloor heating thermostats on the Monday and they arrived on the Weds. Even the electrician was surprised and how quickly they arrived. And a good price too.

the equipment was easy to order, arrived exactly when said, the installation was a doddle the floor heats up wonderfully BUT despite numerous efforts by my whole family and visiting "teccie" friends no one can understand how to programme the thermostat, the instructions looks clear but nothing joins up! Any help would be gratefully received!!
I came across Ambient when I was looking for a better quote for 'Warm-up' UFH than I'd received from a couple of high street tile retailers...(the insulation boards alone were 2 or 3 times the price!) The advice and price I received were both fantastic; in the end though I opted for their own-brand UFH - normally I'm nervous of going down this route, but because of their no-pressure advice, specialism and time in the market, I decided to take a 'calculated' risk. Obviously time will tell if I made the right call, but the kit arrived promptly, was well packed and had comprehensive instructions, so I'm pretty confident! The cost of buying and laying UFH is not cheap, but soooooo worth it - the tiled floor is now toasty warm when you come down in the morning; trouble is the rest if the house feels cold in comparision; maybe ignorance is bliss?!
I priced up underfloor heating (electric coil type) for my kitchen diner area. It's a large area and the cost with the Topp tiles system was astronomic. With Ambient I probably saved at least 50%, but I think it was more than that. (can't remember actual figures off hand) When you phone you get someone on the other end who clearly knows what they are talking about and clued me in on everything I needed to know about how much coil I need,and how to lay it. Really helpful people. Delivery is next day. Can't recommend them highly enough.
