Ambient Underfloor Heating is a family-run business that started in 2002 supplying underfloor heating to homes across the UK online. Since then, the business has increased to over 50 employees, operating from a 23,000 sq ft of warehouse space. Despite this growth, Ambient continues to uphold the family values to which the business was built and continues to operate through the same websites just as it did in 2002.

Have been dealing with ambient for 20 years it’s been a pleasure dealing with them and watching them grow and continually improving their service Unfortunately the company has been bought out I had the displeasure of talking to one of their customer service team They were rude and unhelpful and I will never deal with them Keep away !!!!

Website is pretty easy to use and I found what I wanted to be able to do all my underfloor heating without using a screed. There was some confusion from the wood floor fitter about using a herringbone finish but Mervyn at Ambient went through it with me (very patient!) and helped sort it out. Excellent service and products, my underfloor heating is awesome.

When the thermostat arrived I installed it,and hit a snag whilst programming it. This was rectified by Ambients technical department and we were up and running. I am happy with the look of the stat and the company as a whole and would use them again no problem.

I ordered a product which turned out to be faulty and I had to return it. While I was initially impressed with the speedy delivery and service I have been left completely unimpressed when I have exchanged my item. My faulty item was collected on 29th Sept and I'm due to have the replacement redelivered today (18th Oct). I've needed to rebook the electrician and have not been kept in the loop regarding a replacement. When I asked about how long it would take I was told "up to 14 working days, it says this on our website". I mainly do my shopping online and while I'm aware things do go wrong I've never experienced such a long wait for a replacement item. Having read other reviews I can see that others have had the same experience also.
