From day one of interview I have felt so welcome. The support I get from everyone in the team and head office has been amazing. Everyone works in a professional manner and it has a family friendly environment. I have been here for just over a year and I enjoy coming to work everyday. I am so glad to have found such a amazing place to work.
This is an wonderful network to be a part of. The Right at Home network stood out when doing my research about how to enter the sector: they were honest and value-driven. Over the years I have become a big advocate for the brand & it is inspirational to work with so many like-minded people.
A truly awful agency. The Camden branch has bully managers and truly incompetent Carers those that stay. They'll hire anyone with no experience and do two days training then send them out. No real care is given no kindness no compassion and total lack of attention to detail. Anyone can buy a franchise it's a money spinner for these guys it's not heart led. Do not use
Awful awful agency in Camden. Managers ignore abuse. Carers are not trained, can't read or speak English often items go missing. There is a cover up culture. It's a franchise so anyone can buy the business for 40 000 with zero care experience. Do not use. Do not trust. Camden Hampstead branch is the appalling.
The one star is definitely too much to rate this company. Right at Home Tyneside have maybe a handful of competent care staff, the rest are inexperienced and have zero people skills or common sense. Issues with missed showers, missed medication, medication not being given due to the amount of time between calls not being long enough. Calls being missed, being late or calls happening and food being left in the fridge so they don’t have to come back for lunch calls. Care staff who come and don’t support with personal hygiene and who leave used pads on the bathroom floor as well as faeces on the floor. They leave dishes behind, they’ve made cups of tea with cold tap water. The list is endless. There have been 2 decent care staff attend throughout the time. Due to complaints and whatever other reason they have decided they are dropping the care package. Terrible company who need to train their staff better and have more empathy for their clients and families
Since joining Right At Home Stockport & Didsbury, I have been welcomed and settled straight into the team. Everyone has been supportive and helpful since day one. The team create a good atmosphere and management are happy to assist with any queries or questions from both staff and clients.
I worked for right at home for 8years . I cannot express how much I loved working here . The office staff are always available for help both in work and personal development, the care team are thoughtful compassionate with all clients and all become your friends . Right at home helped me move forward with my carer within nursing and I can’t thank the company as a whole enough . Miss all you guys !
Throughout my time with Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury I had experienced a few good moments but way more bad moments. The RM is nothing short of a bully. She has zero people skills, if she's having a bad day then you can guarantee you'll have a bad day! There are many issues with this franchise and sadly they all stem from the manager. Despite all the extremely negative reviews, complaints, grievances and investigations raised against this manager nothing ever happens. It's such a shame as it could be an amazing company!
Have had ongoing problems of inconsistent time keeping and care scheduling, the care team are good with many helpful care assistants. The service management is however very poor including: Multiple instances of billing errors (oddly always in overcharge) Missed visits at short notice due to staffing issues. Change of policy such that pets must be locked away during care visits or service is cancelled without notice. Poor communication with emails often unanswered or significant delays.
Absolutely unprofessional company management, recruit members of the public on false promises saying they are a very flexible company and understand your situation and once your employed it’s a totally different story all together, they show no remorse or interest if you ever experience a emergency and request you give at least 4 weeks notice before an emergency haha I just can’t believe they are running a care company with management who don’t have a caring bone in their body. They are disrespectful and do not give a damn about their employees, the main person who is the culprit is Stacey Gentle and she is the main reason for the high turn over in staff and sickness levels which leads to leaving vulnerable clients waiting, absolutely ridiculous. I would never Recommend this care agency to anyone looking for employment nor would I recommend it to anyone looking for a care agency. Disgusting and I must say the CQC should take these reviews seriously and I will be contacting them also. Absolutely disgusting. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. If there was an option i wouldn’t haven even 1 star to this company.
Horrible and unprofessional management, especially Stacey the manager, she is very ignorant and a horrible person to speak to or deal with and a disgrace to the company. If the company goes down it will be because of her. I wanted to give Right at home 0 stars but I didn’t have a choice but to choose 1 star in order to leave a review. 👎
Great home care service, my carers are very understanding of my needs and we always get on well together
Since joining Right at Home I have enjoyed every day being at work. There is a great working environment and welcoming supportive team. It is incredibly rewarding being part of a team working hard to make a real difference to people's lives. Our working environment is supportive, friendly, fun, motivating and challenging but in a positive way. I have also enjoyed celebrating National Pizza Day with staff being treated to pizza by senior management. Brilliant! You are given advice, guidance and support yet left to use your own initiative when completing your work. You can tell that talent is nurtured and encouraged to grow and progress within. Which I am hopeful to do.
The most amazing organisation! They supported my Mum in the best possible way, everyone was so caring and could not have done enough for us as a family. Would definitely recommend them!
Great homecare provider. Full of very nice people. Took great care of my family member.
All the staff care so much they genuinely become like part of the family. I am so grateful for everything they do for us. Thank you so much
Right at Home is a fabulous company to provide care for our nearest and dearest and I can’t recommend them enough. The care my grandmother is receiving through them cannot be faulted. The carers are compassionate and kind and are improving Grandma’s quality of life enormously.
They were just wonderfully helpful!
Madeleine was a wonderful person to liaise with over the care for my family. She understood our position and helped find suitable care for my grandmother. Thank you, Madeleine!
I have worked for Right at Home Bishops Stortford & Braintree for a year now and they are the best company I have ever worked for. Providing person centered care and working with other carers who genuinely care about people is the best feeling ever. Management are very supportive and there's always someone to help. If I had any family needing care, I wouldn't want any other company caring for them. Being able to make a difference to people, however small that difference might be, is so rewarding.
