I dropped into the store as l was going past to see if my item was in. The staff were helpful and gave me a time when it would be in. I called in the next day and my item was in but at the warehouse along the road. The staff member told me that he would phone the warehouse if I went along to pick up my item. As I was parking someone came to the door and I went over to pick up my item.

Bikes were hard to come by in 2020. Everyone wanted to cycle and here I was, in North Yorkshire, having exhausted all local suppliers, wondering what to do next. When I found just the bike I was looking for at Dale’s cycles. Only they’re in Glasgow and there’s a pandemic out there! No problem. All my contact with the company was done online or by phone, and they couldn’t have been more efficient and pleasant to deal with. The bike was delivered exactly when they said it would and when I had a query, they dealt with it straight away, putting me in touch with the workshop, where someone could give me technical advice. The service was great. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. And the bike is fab too!

I bought a Scott Aspect MTB on 5/6/2020 online and found the customer service, including delivery, satisfactory. Having bought bikes online before I expected to have to do some work on the gears etc. and this proved to be the case. However, after 5 months of tarmac and gravel track riding I did not expect to have to change the rear wheel bearings (water ingress from riding), buy a new front wheel quick release skewer, regularly have to tighten both wheels and adjust the gear settings. I have ridden road bikes for many many years and never experienced such lack of robustness and durability.

Dales Cycles have been fantastic from the outset. I ordered my Cube bike through them after being let down by another online retailer. Despite being 300 miles away from their store, they've been at the other end of live chat and email throughout, giving me regular updates on the status of my bike. Not only that, they have also helped me with a few adjustments once it had arrived to ensure the bike was set up correctly for me. Stephen and Jim have been great throughout the whole process, and I wouldn't hesitate to order from Dales again. Thanks guys!
