Nach ca. 10 Monaten hat Conny es tatsächlich geschafft per gerichtlichem Vergleich unsere Kaltmiete um 30% zu senken, was ziemlich exakt der Mietdifferenz entsprach, die Conny zu Beginn als "zu viel" ausgerechnet hatte. Wir hatten so viel im Leben nicht für möglich gehalten und es freut uns umso mehr, dass wir gegen einen sehr großen Immobillienkonzern in Deutschland gewinnen konnten. Es braucht etwas Durchhaltevermögen und Conny schafft es vermutlich aufgrund der Masse nicht immer direkt zu antworten (ab und an brauchte es eine Nachfrage und etwas Geduld), es lohnt sich aber und ich kann nun wirklich bestätigen, dass sich Conny für einen einsetzt und das Bestmögliche erkämpft. Klare Empfehlung und traut Euch, um sich gegen den Mietenwahnsinn vor allem in Berlin zu wehren!

Conny hat mir über 8.000 Euro zu viel bezahlter Miete zurück geholt, ohne dass ich irgendwas dafür machen musste. Einfach Mietvertrag an Conny schicken, warten und Geld zurück. Conny macht mehr für den Berliner Mietenmarkt als jede Lobby und jeder Politiker.

I had this shocking experience with Conny, and I feel an urgent need to warn you. I had a contract with Heimstaden for an apartment in Pankow, paying a ridiculous €985 in cold rent for 15 months. Hoping to get relief, I turned to Conny. They promised to negotiate with my landlord, and they did manage to bring the rent down to €620. They assured me they'd keep only six months’ worth of the savings as their fee and return the rest to me. I trusted them and signed the addendum they prepared. Later, I emailed them to confirm how much of the savings would be transferred to me. Their reply was devastating: “All the mentioned savings go to Conny GmbH.” I couldn’t believe it. Six months of savings was already an outrageous fee for what they called a “minor” service, but I was willing to pay for the convenience. Instead, they took all the money that was rightfully owed to me—money my landlord overcharged me for 15 months. We're talking about €8,800 that should have been mine! Yes, my rent is lower now, but I could have gotten this deal myself and reclaimed the overpaid rent. A lawyer would have cost far less than this scam. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Conny is not your ally. They will rob you blind.

Das Conny-Team war sehr unterstützend und übernimmt die ganze Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Das Verkaufsteam hatte eine verzerrte Infos gegeben über das Finanzielle, aber das Conny-Team hast es wieder gut gemacht und ein Teil der rückwirkenden Mieten an mich ausgezahlt.

Auch wenn die Mietsenkung reibungslos geklappt hat und mein Vermieter sofort zugestimmt hat, nachdem das erste Schreiben eingetrudelt ist seitens Conny, ist mir rätselhaft wieso Conny sich die komplette Rückzahlung plus Kautionsrückzahlung als Provision eingesackt hat. 6000€ für ein Schreiben ist schon ziemlich unfair und gewissenhaft gleichzusetzen mit Wucher-Vermietung. Als Tipp: das nächste Mal vielleicht zuerst selbst mit dem Vermieter in Kontakt treten BEVOR man den Button bei Conny drückt. Die handeln nämlich sofort und schreiben eure Vermieter an, bevor man irgendwas überhaupt unterschreibt.

CONNY hat sich sehr gut gekümmert. Der Prozess hat sehr lange gedauert (Gerichtsprozess, Zwangsvollstreckung etc.) - alleine hätte ich das nicht geschafft.

I came to you because a friend recommended you. The contract was different as it turned out. You received my deposit difference, you received all my overpayments, I received the same amount. The information on the website on the cost of services also does not reflect reality. I will not recommend you to my friends and colleagues it is for sure, it is cheaper to turn to their lawyers and fairer. To pay you 3500 euros for the fact that I reduced the payment by 150 euros, the total I need to live 2 subsequent years here that would pay off this “service”. After closing the payment to you, my landlord immediately sent a 1% payment increase. From the good: you have a pretty good feedback and very nice people in communication.

Conny trying to purge negative reviews… Conny trying to purge negative reviews even though they know they are based on actual events. I wrote a review about how they let down non-german people and run after they recieved their share - and their client recieved nothing. They claimed "they cant help further because they dont know any other language than german" (this is not a joke...). It worked in english though until they recieved their money, which they demanded before the client was even paid. They know this happened since other lawyers got involved. Now they try to abuse trustpilots safety mechanism to purge reviews. Politicians investigating this have been made aware of this happening.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Es ging sehr schnell, es wurde sehr gut kommuniziert und meine Miete wurde um fast die Hälfte gesenkt! Ich kann Conny nur weiterempfehlen!

Ich hinterlasse selten Bewertungen, aber dieses Unternehmen muss jede*r in Berlin kennen! 100% meines Freundeskreises zahlt zu viel Miete Ich habe Conny im April beauftragt und zum Oktober hatte ich meine Mietsenkung schwarz auf weiß! 100% zu empfehlen.

it got done within a month. i expected rent to go bit more down. but happy with the result. i got some of the money back after deduction of Conny fees, and surely will also save some in future. I can recommend Conny to others! Good luck!

I went with Conny following the recommendation of a neighbour that had a positive experience with them in 2021. Long story short, Conny also won my case. So why one star I hear you ask? Two reasons: Firstly, I was left quite unimpressed with their legal expertise, when Conny fell in line with a legally incorrect request from my landlord’s lawyers, which, if followed, could have invalidated my entire claim (and left me homeless in the end). I had to send Conny the relevant legislation plus explanation outlining why the other side was wrong and explain why we should not accept their requests. I was right and the other side gave in. Secondly, I do mind, very much, for a company that markets itself on protecting tenants from rapacious landlords, not to have a cap on their commission. In my case Conny was paid the usual amount of 6 moths savings, plus they retained over 20 months of historic overpayments – all in all ca €15k. This amount is completely unequitable. For 15k I could have hired a competent private housing lawyer that would not have needed me to do some of the work for them and walked away with money to spare. I accept it is very much my own idiotic fault for skim reading the fee structure when I signed up online, but it seems other claimants have done the same, and the change also seems to be recent, as my neighbours and other claimants in 2023 still received their overpayments back. So I would like to know when and why Conny changed their commission policy and how they justify not capping it. I understand a cap would require transparency of cost and Conny is a profit making outfit after all. It feels like they have now just become another rip off merchant profiting off the back of tenants. I do walk away with cheaper rent, thanks to Conny, but I could have achieved that result a lot of other ways without sacrificing €15k. Overall: Convenient? Yes. Competent? Debatable. Fair and equitable? No.

In our case CONNY was initially really eager to work for us because they estimated an overpay of around 400€. Also, after submitting them our data they have to review they were still believing in the overpay. Meanwhile there was no communication and all processes going on in the background are a complete blackbox. After some time they came back to us asking for additional data on our flat which we already gave them before and that the case will now be shifted to their legal department so that they can sue the landlord. However, suddenly after 2 days and a legal review they just wrote one mail that the case is without any chance and will be closed. Absolutley no communication about the reasons. So we now have nothing but a bad relationship to our landlord, thanks to CONNY. So what was the review department doing for the first 6 weeks? They reviewed our case and made us believe that everythign is fine, which was obviously not true and they should know and then simply telling us after 2 days of their legal review that nothing is possible. This is simply bad service and just for attracting customers to make you believe you can save money and having nothing in the end.

Conny hat es mir unglaublich leicht gemacht, meine Miete zu reduzieren. Sie hat bei jedem Schritt mit mir kommuniziert und den ganzen Prozess sehr verständlich gemacht. Ich kann ihnen nicht genug danken.
