Funding process was excellent!! BUT!!! Wanting to pay extra each month along with monthly payment but there’s no online access where you can. In terms there’s no penalty making extra payments but am unable to find an account website where i can track my account and pay extra. Very annoying and very frustrated as I would like to pay extra each month!
Was impressed with BHG until their electronic withdrawals screwed up and stopped payments and left us in arrears without knowing it. Then the process of correcting their mistake took hours of personal time, phone calls, frustration, etc to rectify. Be careful, they don’t care about anything but your money

Getting a personal loan from BHG was very easy and I felt extremely taken care of. I got a call from Finance Manager, Christopher Jordan (Chris), the morning after I submitted my online application. We discussed what I was going to use the loan for, the different options for amount and life of the loan, and it was really straightforward. Chris communicated efficiently and very timely. I felt heard during the entire process, and even after I received my funds, Chris remained available to answer any additional questions I had. Also, BHG considers if you’re a licensed professional, which made me feel even more confident in choosing them for a loan. I would definitely consider BHG Financial in the future if I ever need another loan. Thank you, Chris!

I absolutely cannot stand this company! They have been harassing me and sending me mail for years. I have called and been told I am on their do not contact list but get mailers and letters ALL the time still. I’ve been calling and asking to not be contacted over and over again for years and they do absolutely NOTHING. I’ve done return to sender just for it to turn around and get sent back to me. I would NEVER use this company and advise everyone else to stay far away from them. Leave me alone! Responding to your reply…NO, you do NOT comply with anything. Like I said, I have been calling and asking to get off your lists for YEARS. Stop lying. I have been told numerous times I’d be taken off by your employees and that is clearly a lie since I am STILL receiving nonstop spam mail from you.
Smooth process getting 2nd time funded with them
The upfront process and getting the loan was very efficient. However, the follow up after getting the funds is burdensome. I was not even given an account number. The only means to make extra payments is via a check and the portal is for approval process checking only not account management. NONE of this was explained while the loan process took place.

Quite a disappointing experience after reading all of the positive reviews. Started a business app but didn’t follow through until received non stop emails and phone calls from a representative. Decided to move forward with a personal app and 2 days later received a decline. Ironicall, due to unsavory correspondence with that rep, I requested another but the followup I was promised never happened. It's my belief that the representative ensured I'd not be approved. 793 score, 1< debt and a seven figure verifiable income. It made no sense. On top of it all there's a hard inquiry on Chexsystems showing Transunion on behalf of Bankers Trust. That's something that don't disclose. To say I'm disappointed would be a gross understatement.
Communication was absolutely abysmal! Multiple appointments missed, calls not returned. The excuse was always "technical difficulties." If you found them off credit karma, BEWARE. Whatever credit karma told you you were approved for with BHG is NOT what they'll offer you. They push debt consolidation extremely hard, as a matter of fact, wouldn't approve a loan for me without paying off other debt when I made it very clear I wasn't interested in debt consolidation. Read the reviews, do your homework. I'd look elsewhere!
