Easy to work with and quick funding.
Every phase of the loan process I had a representative that was thoughtful, listened and walked me through the process, taking the time to answer questions to get me qualified for what I needed. I see reviews of customers complaining about rates, but this is an unsecured loan in a current market with higher rates. There aren't a lot of options to finish a construction project without a bank placing a lien on your property. For what I received from BHG, it is worth it and I had a great experience.

Professionalism, clarity of terms and ease of process.
Such an awesome experience securing a loan. Went super smooth with quick funding and great communication from the company. Was SUPER upset and disappointed, though, when I called to find out how I can view my balances, make extra payments, change my payments, or make other basic updates to my loan account. SURPRISE- there IS NO SUCH THING! If you want to get your balance or make additional payments or anything basic like that, you have to call. Every time. There is no loan portal. I can't even verify a payment went through. Guess I will cross my fingers and hope for the best. I have never had a mortgage or any other loan where there was no online servicing. Guess I won't be getting more loans from this place once this one is paid off, which I will do early by making a phone call to make extra payments every month.
