Very good, the response is very fast and reasonable price
Its policy is available for many countries, especially small island nations or territories that other insurance provider do not offer. Its coverage also suits for those travellers who love outdoor activities.
I can not get anyone to respond back. I'm trying to adjust / cancel an insurance policy and so far...crickets. I've used Trip Assure in the past, but so far World Nomads has been disappointing.
World Nomads is easy to use. They are quite transparent on the website regarding what the insurance covers and what it does not cover. I also found their prices to be almost 600 dollars less expensive than policies offered by other companies for coverage that was similar but not as comprehensive. When you spend thousands of dollars on travel, it makes sense to buy good insurance just in case.
I have used World Nomads several times now, and feel the costs are pretty reasonable and the coverages are great! Recently had to file a claim because we had to cancel a trip and reschedule it. We were paid promptly for the cost of deposits we had made. We have rebooked the trip and just bought more insurance from WN. I also bought a policy for a trip to Patagonia and Antarctica in February!
Quick and easy and good value
I would have preferred to speak to a representative for my initial purchase. Just going online does not for questions from me or suggestions from your rep. I may not have had to cancel my first purchase and then repurchase a new plan had that happened. Other than that your prices are very good. Hopefully, I won't need to test your claims process.
Signing up for a policy was easy, but then when I inquiring about possibly missing a connection and having it ruin my entire trip, the customer service response time was less than ideal.
Haven't had to make a claim, however, World Nomads coverage offers peace of mind whilst traveling. Offers good value, competitive pricing, and the coverage options are easy to understand. The website login is a little frustrating having to login multiple times.
I’m absolutely thrilled and eagerly anticipating the trip planned for my birthday celebration! The team at World Nomad did an incredible job researching and organizing every detail, making thoughtful adjustments along the way, and building my confidence in their ability to create an unforgettable milestone celebration for my family and friends. The purchasing process was seamless, and I appreciated how they integrated access to trip insurance options. So far, the entire experience has been effortless and enjoyable!
They denied my valid claim and I tried to appeal and they would do nothing to reimburse me for my trip cancellation or things that were stolen.
I am going on a trip knowing that no matter happens i have world nomad on my side to take care of me.
I've never had a claim, but Nationwide (their insurer) has a good reputation. World Nomads is the best-priced travel insurance. Our trips usually cost more than their limits, but travelers do not need to insure every dime of their trip. That "deductible" creates a significant savings. They don't sell to people who are 70 or older, which is sad. They are missing out on good business.
So far my go to trip insurance
The most expensive travel insurance rates.
Great experience by choosing a travel plan without any waiting period outside my residence country.
What a bunch of con-artists and rip-off merchants! If I could leave a less than 1 start rating I would. I'll never give them a cent of my money ever again and if you're wise neither should you.
I use world Nomad often when I travel. So far I have never needed to make a claim. However, the price and coverage is good. I will use it again.
Affordable and quote is easy to understand and compare coverages. I’ve used World Nomads twice and it’s always by far the cheapest
Purchased world nomads trip insurance for my most recent trip to Costa Rica and though I did not need it this time I was glad to have it because we had a few storms come in, and I thought I might have to stay in the country longer than expected, as has happened on 2 previous trips.
