Donington Park Circuit, DE74 2BN, Castle Donington, GB
I'd reccomend it to anybody who wanted to do a track day!
Great day start to end, very professional. Great emphasis on safety. Lots of fun and plenty of time to explore the car and your own limits.
Had a wonderful day at Anglesey. Everybody happy from my daughter doing her first trackday to myself and son experienced racers. Passenger rides for extended family happily accommodated. I have used all the trackday organisers but find bookatrack the best and good value for money.
So there I was on a random Tuesday Morning in June, p!ssed as a parrot, stumbling through a dark field somewhere in a German village in the hope that I was heading vaguely in the right direction. The previous hours had been spent emptying a bottle and a half of Jagermeister between myself and 5 others. How had a simple track day descended into a Monday night of such debauchery? Rewind the clock 18 months when I was trawling through my car's owner's club forum when I came across a topic: “Owner's Club track day at Spa with BookaTrack”. “Definately!” I said to myself and 3 months later after 2 days driving one of the World's finest racetracks I had the bug. So I returned to Spa with BookaTrack and then returned again and again! I also did Brands Hatch GP and the very underrated Zandvoort. And then returned to Spa. During that time I'd become accustomed to the friendly nature of the staff and made friends who also use BookaTrack exclusively as their trackday company. You may think a trackday is a trackday but when you consider that I've never queued to go on track (surely that doesn't still happen!) and have witnessed, among other things, a COMPLETELY sideways lap of Spa in the wet from the passengers seat of a Caterham R300 driven by a pro racing driver you'll appreciate why BaT is so special. And then there's the crȇpe eating challenge! And so I got the Caterham bug...Yes BaT also have a fleet of truly awesome racing cars to hire. Driving a Caterham is something all petrolheads should have on their bucket list. They are truly unbelievable. So when BaT announced a day at the Nordschleife my only questions were a) when? and b) which Caterham can I drive? After a perfect summer's day spent pushing and pushing and pushing (not literally) my Caterham around the Nordschleife I conceded happily that it has more grip than I have guts and I am now determined to own one myself. Virtually all drivers and staff then descended on the famous Pistenklause for steak and beer when the debauchery started... Fortunately my drunken homing beacon got me back to my hotel room and It wasn't until a day or two later that I realised I'd just experienced the best day of my life. Thanks BookaTrack.
We've been on a few BaT days now and can safely say we'll be on a few more to come! The team run a good, safe day every time with an exceptionally friendly atmosphere, keep up the good work.
Very good, have used several times before and will in the future
The best organised and professionally run track days that I have attended. The driver briefing sets the standard for the day. The driving standards are high which minimises any disruptions to track time. Would recommend to anybody regardless of track day experience.
Well organised, great briefing - particularly the bit about the dynamic between Heavy/Fast cars (quick on the straights) and Lightweight ones (quick in the corners). Punters generally seem sensible too, plus they do really good car hire.
I wish to be informed of your next days mainly in Spa... Best regards,
The track at Spa is fantastic and we had a beautiful day but I personally wouldn't go again with this organiser in this format. There were a lot of cars on track ranging from ordinary road cars to race cars with slick tyres. This meant that you were constantly having to look in the rear mirror and move over to let others pass disrupting your concentration and causing you to leave your line. Also, despite the organiser's briefing, there was plenty of bullying by faster cars, overtaking on corners, on the right etc. I dont think that the rules were properly enforced. There were cars refuelling from jerry cans in the pit lane while others were smoking! As an occasional track day goer, I want to have fun and I want to feel that safety is the organiser's principal concern. I didnt really feel that on this occasion and I didnt enjoy myself as much as I have on other track days.
The whole experience with Bookatrack is positive. They run friendly and vfm days. I've only had cause to raise an issue about driving standards once and they dealt with that immediately and appropriately. I can only say good things about them
secure, fun, friendly, professional and good organization
Just got back from Spa with BaT. Each member of the team is friendly and helpful...beyond the expected. If there's someone out there offering a better service I've yet to go on one of their trackdays!
Bookatrack run very well organised events with a dedicated and enthusiastic team. Prices are competitive and events are not over-booked to ensure the "no queuing" promise is kept. On-track behaviour by attendees is mostly excellent and any transgressions are firmly dealt with. The free lunch and drinks are another nice touch that is appreciated by the attendees and gives an opportunity to socialise. I have used many TDO's over the years and Bookatrack are top of my list by some margin. They simply try harder!
we had a wonderfulle time at Spa !
Great trackday, great people, great circuit. A perfect day in Spa
I also look forward to their events in Belgium and Holland. They guarantee plenty of driving time with the "open pitlane" and the circuit is never crowded.
Thank you BookaTrack for the most wonderful driving experience of my life (so far). There was a good mix of cars on the track but not too many, the briefing was spot-on and the driving standards superb. I must say that the "pay and play" Caterham drivers were the most sensible and courteous on the track. The "semi-pro" drivers tended to be the least courteous, perhaps they were using the track for cheap testing and us poor fools in road cars were crowding the track for them. (Mainly the guy in the white GT3 that didn't understand the term "overtake on the left"). The venue and facilities were just awesome and the organisation was excellent too. It is a concern when you take your pride and joy to a track day and thanks to Stuart (instructor) for helping me get the most out of the day. I strongly recommend that everybody gets some intruction, regardless of your perceived ability, you will be safer and your car will be faster and smoother if you drive the lines that suit your car: the racing line isn't always best for every car! I will certainly be back again, as will all of our group that attanded this time. A big thank you to all at BookaTrack.
Thanks for another well organised day. I felt sorry for the girl checking wristbands at the end of the pitlane. As the weekend went on, she was getting more and more burnt by the sun.
BAT is by far the best trackday organiser I have come accross, backed by the most helpful and friendly team. Things that for me stand out are: - Driving standards at BAT trackdays are exemplary; this means plenty of tracktime, - Right number of cars on track, less traffic, more enjoyment. - Excellent services on track: fantastic instructors, Caterham hire, mechanical support, excellent photography - Variaty on offer, UK trackdays and their overseas trips: Spa, Zanvoort, Iberian trip... - Great atmosphere and a very friendly team. Highly recommended, it is always a pleasure doing trackdays with them.
