Great briefing stating the facts without silly comments or bigging up the team. Straight to sighting laps to gain circuit confidence and knowledge. Worst aspect is no overtaking in braking areas. I appreciate many drivers have little understanding of race/rally brakes, but it allows straight line speed drivers with little braking or cornering ability to dominate the event and inhibit progress of others. Altogether an excellent event and limited restrictions for the sensible. I will certainly be back as it is a great test facility or good way to test/develop your skills/car within safe parameters and a non competitive environment.

You have to try BookaTrack. It's run by a keen team with the safe satisfaction of the Cient set as the prime objective along with maximum track time. The reasonably price evening sessions are excellent value with good track access. Why would you go with anyone else?

Hassle free caterham hire trackday. Staff always on hand to assist with seat position, pedal realignment etc. Slow moving cars seemed much more willing and quick to move over than with other TDO's in my experience. Very helpful free tuition session. Would be nice if evening trackdays with caterham hire were more readily available at other tracks.

Attended Rockingham track day which was well run, signing on easy, briefing clear. No silly rules or overcrowding. Good day all round - highly recommended

Having never done a track day before and thinking it would be a great fathers day present for my Dad i did some quick google-ing and ended up on the bookatrack website. The price for an evening session at Donington park seemed very good and other reviews from a further bit of web searching gave a very good impression of the company. However a very quick response to a brief enquiry email is what convinced me to choose them. Something i do not regret. The session at Donington was fantastic. Both my dad and myself could drive the car for the session price and Bookatracks staff were freindly and helpful. I also had a half hour tutor session with Scott which really helped me get the best out of the car and session. Will hopefully be booking again before the year is out.

The trackday at Rockingham was really well run - I was a bit concerned at first due to the number of non-road cars in attendance but I needn't have worried as the briefing made it very clear that courteous driving standards were not optional! On track I found everyone to be really well behaved and the event ran very smoothly. A good example of how trackdays should be organised and run, thank you.

Great day at rockingham with bookatrack, my 5th day with them and it won't be the last

Great days. Eve when event is deemed full, track is not too busy. Open pit lane, with minimal stoppages, maximising track time. Friendly folk running it, will always try to accomodate your needs. All in all makes for a great day

Feedback on the Zandvoort Track day, Thursday 2nd August. From an overall point of view the day was a great experience, even the rain in the morning didn’t dampen the enthusiasm. The track suited the car and we had a great time driving on a classic track. There were a few small things though, that could have been better. I felt that improved communication would have helped. As a “first timer at Zandvoort”, knowing how to get to the paddock and the garaging on arrival, rather than just follow your nose, joining the pit lane from the paddock, and having someone sighting the exit of the pits for fast approaching cars, would all have been helpful.. The morning briefing was obviously aimed at the majority who had been there before. The offer of a couple of sighting laps would have been good, even if it was just for the newbies. At other track days I’ve done, this has always happened. The instructions on passing on the track, wasn’t adhered to very strongly, particularly by the slick shod Ferrari boys on their test session. Oh sorry, it was a dealer day wasn’t it! I appreciate that I was one of the slowest cars out there but, being monster’d so continually, wasn’t a pleasant experience. How I didn’t gain a yellow Ferrari stripe, defeats me. Many of the 911’s and the sports racers though, were much, much more forgiving and prepared to wait for a safe passing point. During the day, the other drivers I spoke with were great to get along with and shared there knowledge freely. A number of spectators stopped and chatted with us. Another highlight was when the Zandvoort Track Director stopped in his 1930’s Alfa for a chat, as he too is a huge Lotus enthusiast. All these things added to the day. I’m really pleased I’ve been to Zandvoort and will return, but I’m equally as disappointed with my first Book-a-track experience. Knowing that [Link] were there on the following day, made we wish I’d gone with them.

Professional, yet relaxed and informal. Perfect balance.

Whilst BaT are one of the more expensive track day companies, they provide very well-run days with fewer cars than most, so queueing to get on track is none existent, and plenty of clear laps, even when a wide variety of cars are on track.

We had a great day with BaT at Donington this weekend. We did pay top price for a trackday but in fairness it was a weekend and the value the extra was delivered. I rarely had moments where there was any traffic in the way on track throughout the day and the pit lane was very well run. The staff were friendly and the Tuition I had on the day was well worth the small additional fee. My parents came down and were both signed on for PAX laps free of charge too which was a nice touch as they only wanted a couple of laps each to experience the circuit. All in all a great day and I will definatly look to use BaT again in the future.

There are track days and then there are BaT track days. Been many times with a group and we always have lots of quality track time with a friendly, organised, approachable and understanding bunch, and that's without mentioning the pretty girls, lunch, pots of tea and coffee, biscuits and the Feng Shui cat! If you want a great time on and off track you won't do better...

Well organised, good setup. Not a good day to test due to strict regulations on overtaking and some very slow cars. But that's made clear upfront. Was very impressed with the respect thy manage to generate on track. People look in their mirrors and almost no irritation out on the track. Net result is a lot of driving time. I think a total of 10 minutes red-flag. Impressive. Will definetly use them again.

BookaTrack.com is one of the few organizations that knows how to organize a top notch trackday! Everytime I drive with bookatrack it always feels safe.

Jonny and the BAT team do very well run track days and visit many good circuits. If you run a Caterham their team of mechanics can often help you if you have a car problem, although you usually have to go through a bit of "we're too busy at the moment" before they seem to forget all about that and descend on your car and get you running again. Good briefings and a friendly, smiling staff brighten any track day. In my opinion, the best track day organiser in the UK.

Radicals and full on race machinery on the same track as trackday cars ( and drivers) is a recipie for disaster and will get you a bad name. Sadly, these days are always going to attract a fair few tossers on track, and regrettably there were a fair few present. They spoil the day for the majority, who, in the main are well mannered. I'm afraid I have no advice on weedleing them out beforehand , but entrust you to deal with them swiftly and appropriately.

Proffesional and the only track day company I will now use and I've tried most of them.

Damien 04 August 2012, 21:33

Everything's great (especially the staff) unless a couple pilots who don't respect the "houserules" in term of sharing the track in full security...but it's managable. Please make sure I get a garage at once every time now, automatically. Thanks!
