We relocated our belongings from CT, USA to Trivandrum, India. The process was very smooth and professional with Universal Relocations. The only drawback is that it takes time (2-3 months), so you have to prepare for it and make sure they are not essential belongings. Hope that their team works on expediting the process too. We moved our house hold goods from Pittsburgh, PA, USA through Universal Relocations. Khushali Dattani was my first point of contact with the company. She was very professional in providing estimates and then firm quotes. The personnel who came to pick up the cargo were efficient and professional. After a brief period of container consolidation in NJ, the container was loaded onto a cargo ship. Information related to this was provided. I was kept apprised of the ship's progress and likely arrival date at Mumbai Port and transshipment to the Inland Port at Hyderabad. My US passport both old and new were asked for along with my OCI card in order to clear Customs. I strongly feel that this information should have been provided as part of the Information Package provided in the US itself and should not come as an unpleasant surprise after reaching India. Leon of Universal was nice enough to smooth frayed nerves and was an ocean of calm. Subsequently, Palani of Universal oversaw the Customs clearance process and the return of precious documents. Huzzaina then took over for the last leg of moving the goods from Hyderabad to my home in Pune. She ensured with dedication that all information related to this critical step be provided. She was open to answering anxious text questions promptly and provided details of moving personnel who would accompany the cargo and truck tracking details. These personnel, when they arrived proved to be professional in their attitude and did a good job of placing the cartons where we wanted them to. Our cargo arrived safe and sound and undamaged. All in all, it was a good experience that exceeded my expectations. Thank you Universal. I will not hesitate to recommend you should the need arise.

Great experience with Universal Relocation. Their service was good and used to get regular updates about the status of shipment & regular follow-up emails if there was any delay. There was port charges which was not communicated at first time otherwise i don't see anything bad experience of this company for moving items from USA to India.

Great experience with Universal Relocations. Their service was highly commendable. Instructions were clear on how to pack and what to pack. My personal recommendation is package (fragile items in particular) need to be well packed at home for shipment. Received email updates about shipping status almost on a weekly basis. Received the package in 4 months door to door (considering the COVID delay which was informed in advance). Charges were transparent (Initial shipping charges + Port Charges). Delivery process was smoother including vehicle tracking once local shipment started and local guys were helpful in bringing the items to the door steps. Received all the items without any damage. Overall very happy with the shipment.
