Excellent moving service from Universal Relocations. Better than what I expected. Packing service in the US could have been a bit better - one packer did a great job but the other didn’t. Employees (Leon and Sandhya) in India were very helpful and friendly. Sandhya did a fantastic job and was very patient with my constant follow ups. I highly recommend Universal Relocations.

Universal Relocations did a great job with our move from Piscataway, NJ USA to Chennai, Tamil Nadu INDIA. Care was taken in packing all our items and delivered to the destination securely. Please insure your shipment if there are valuable items. Though nothing was damaged it was a good option for us as we had a lot of fragile collections.

Universal Relocations used to be good. We had used them in 2017 and also gave them a good review when we sent items from NY to Chennai. Unfortunately they have deteriorated. From not accepting credit cards to poor service at NY to very poor handling of items at Hyderabad where we had to pay a fine of 50,000 RS for old laptops and bikes. They are awful at getting things done and best to not use. If they can help with the bribe to be paid I can certainly revise this review but for now, I'd suggest you stay away from them. Update: I have written to Hon Nitin Gadkari about the actions of the Port. Furthermore, how do you provide bills for laptops over 10 years old? We should have been told to not pack them in the first place.
Received very bad services, specially from US team. They are not responding. I am following up with them for last 4 months about my shipment damage but did not receive any positive update. Horrible experience. Not at all recommended. Ask to give at least refund of shipment payment. But for that also no update. So, universal just1 keep my shipment and also the payment I made for that shipment, it's worth of more than $1,500. I do not have any hope if I received this money. If universal care about customer feedback, then they will at lease respond after this post.
When I was searching for relocation services from the USA to India, my brother-in-law suggested to try Universal as he had bitter experience with a different company. I am very glad that I selected Universal Relocations to cater to my needs of moving boxes from the Los Angeles, USA to Hyderabad, India. I had great experience in working with Palani during the port clearance process at ICD, and Sandhya during the delivery scheduling and destination handling. All my packaged boxes were handled with care, and everything was intact.
Universal relocation delivered 2 of my package perfectly . But I had some issues with my overall delivery. Among 3 packages one of my package was gone missing while FedEx sending them to universal warehouse. Though universal claimed some amount from FedEx I missed refund for my cold press juicer worth of 250$ Since I thought I kept that in other 2 boxes. I didn’t get proper response for that missing box. Also had experienced lot of conversations for the delivery fee for the missing box. The delivery team gave the box to my doorstep which is very great. I wish I would have better communication and proper response for the missing box. I had lost 250$ because of that. FedEx claims team would have communicated proper about the claim for missing box which was not done. Overall it’s good except my experience with missing box send refund
