We have a fairly straight-forward financial situation so there were no surprises for us mortgage-wise but as FTB’s the advice and support we received from Louis was exceptional. As a first time buyer, I trusted the reviews left for Trinity Finance and set up an appointment back in February 2020. Amit was my advisor and I felt completely reassured and comfortable from our first meeting that he could help me, he always gave me time (even if late on a Friday night) and managed to get me a mortgage offer MUCH higher than I expected. I have just moved into my new home and cannot stress enough that without Amit’s help I wouldn’t have been able to afford it. Don’t be deterred by Trinity Finance’s slightly higher fees than other advisors - it’s worth every penny and I would highly recommend them.

I guess I will be the first to give them less than 5 star. We have asked one of the advisors to help us with remortgaging a property. In his email he was more than happy to assist us and that we set up a date for a zoom conference instead of a face to face meeting due to Covid-19. I suggested we have this conference on Tuesday the 20th October and we got a reply that that's fine with him. Few days before the conference I emailed him to ask if he could send us a Zoom invitation, we didn't get a reply. A day before the 20th I emailed him to let him know that I looked forward to speaking with him but that I was still waiting for his invitation. Again didn't get a reply from him. On the 20th I rang him in the office but was told he was working from home, so I rang his mobile. He didn't pick up. So over the course of 20 minutes, I rang and texted him but no response. I even created a zoom invitation and invited him just in time for our conference. Again no response from him whatsoever. I rang the office again to let them know of the situation and asked whether I could speak to another advisor. I was told someone will call me back later. 10 days later I get no response from him nor from the company. I don't know what I did to deserve such treatment from Trinity Finance. I have used his service on two separate occasions in the past and he was very helpful back then and had found the right products for our needs. Even back then some of my calls got unanswered but I didn't complain because I knew he was busy. Anyway, I waited a week to see if he will contact me with a reasonable explanation as to what had happened, but nothing from him nor from Trinity Finance. You might say they are very busy during these times but to get no response whatsoever is utterly unprofessional. Needless to say I won't be calling them again and certainly would not recommend their services to my friends and clients. Very disappointed.

I'm a first time buyer, working in a freelance/contracts based industry so I had a tough time finding someone experienced and confident enough in taking me on and helping me secure a mortgage. I can’t recommend Alasdair enough. Alasdair helped us in getting our first time mortgage and he was a great help to us. He has been fantastic from the first consultation until we got the mortgage offer. He is very knowledgeable of the lender requirements and provided support and very clear communication at every stage. Other staff members involved were helpful and nice too. Overall excellent experience.

Alastair was recommended to us through our solicitor to help us secure a mortgage. The complex nature of my employment and salary made securing a mortgage difficult. However, Alastair took the time to understand our situation and was able to help us find the right lender. Without his help we definitely would not have received the mortgage offer needed for my wife and I to purchase our new home. It was a challenging journey but we got there in the end thanks to Alastair and the Trinity Finance team.
