Absolutely horrible customer service paired with ridiculously long wait times for them to get the product shipped. I’m still waiting on package which is sitting in their warehouse, I made the purchase in July and it’s currently August 10 with no movement. I’ve emailed them three times and they reassure me they’re waiting on the courier to pick it up. I will never buy from their website again.

Lego website is useless. My aim: to allow my daughter to use a feature in the Lego Life App that is currently not available. To do this I signed in to manage my daughters account as a parent. The navigation is somewhere between awful and none existent. I cannot get from pages trying to sell me something to the parental control pages. I manage to get to the parental control page by editing the browser address bar directly. This takes me to the the identity sub domain. I then give my daughter all privileges temporarily to try to give her the privilege she needs, with a view to then narrowing them down again. She checks the Lego App and it still denies her access. It tells her to ask a parent to access to the parental controls to enable it. Exactly what I have just done. I then cannot get from the identity pages to any other page without editing the address bar in the browser again. The poor quality also means that I now lack confidence in her safety using the App. If the system is this buggy, will it also allow her to do things she should not be able to do? As a web developer myself I have rarely come across a site as bad as this. Only the Inland Revenue UK Government site is this obstructive.

Worst transaction ever. Called to cancel my order a few days after purchase and was told no because it was in the warehouse and to wait for the package. Jul 2 was purchase date. Didn’t ship out for several days. Then I got a FedEx shipping date of July 13. Since I live in an apartment, I had to wait at home for the package. Package never came. Had to deal with FedEx then called Lego. Spoke to Nathan who told me he was going to try to get me a refund by talking to billing. He also said he’d be calling FedEx to have the package returned to Lego and to email him if the package didn’t show up on the 14th. None of this happened and got an email from Nathan saying to let them know if it hadn’t shown up by the 16th. I was so let down and stressed by this point. So I waited on the 14th for the package. Once again it didn’t show up. Had stress induced blackouts at this point. I was out a lot of money and couldn’t get Nathan at Lego to email me back. FedEx called apologizing saying it would be delivered today the 15th. So much for Lego calling and having it shipped back to them on the 13th when I called. Got up early on the 15th and looked at the tracking. Now it’s finally going back to Lego. So I called Lego again. Spent 25 minutes on the phone. My money will be returned in 3-5 business days and I got 10.00 in VIP points for the stress of it all. 10.00. That doesn’t seem like a fair price for my time and stress. Let me tell you what Lego means to me. My house is filled with Lego sets. I have almost every Harry Potter set put out as well as other sets. I post regularly ( almost daily) on Legos and how wonderful they are. I post my builds on FB. I tell my friends to buy Legos. Everyone in my family is a Legoaholic including my 73 year old mother. To say how let down I am by Lego is an understatement. They have virtually no return window. They use FedEx which I have a problem with every order shipped to me. And now 3-5 business days to get my money back which I need because I ran into an emergency. I will NEVER use Lego.com again. The Legos are now being turned around and shipped back to Lego. I couldn’t do this myself in the beginning with FedEx because Lego places restrictions. You have no control over your shipment from Lego. I am devastated over this whole transaction. I will continue to buy Legos, but will do so from other places or go to the store which is 45 minutes from me. Before you order from Lego online, I suggest you take these things I brought up in mind. Worst transaction ever.

I have Lego’s Land Rover Defender kit which they are preventing me from finishing. Let me explain. My family bought this for me for my birthday, thinking this old f**t would enjoy building this, and to start with I did. The kit is in 4 sections with numbered bags of parts. Section 1 went swimmingly with no problems at all. In Section 2 the nightmare began, huge numbers of missing parts. Although I didn’t know this to start with as you can’t do an inventory of parts. I duly ordered my replacement missing parts from the ever helpful Lego customer service people. To be fair they did offer to replace the kit, but having spent many hours assembling it I was reluctant and this was accepted, to start with. Section 3 of the build was worse, to the point where Lego sent a complete set of Section 3 parts. This worked and I finished this bit. Then section 4 started! At this point Lego unilaterally decided to block my account, since stating I had breached their terms (what terms? No warning was given, they just blocked it). So I thought ok, just buy the parts from them. I wasn’t happy to do this, but there’s no alternative. Guess what? They won’t even sell me any parts! I got the order referred to their decision makers, who decided they still weren’t going to supply. Quite frankly I’m livid, wouldn’t you be? My family have now effectively wasted £149.99 on something the manufacturer will not now let me finish. They even told me that I was still allowed to buy other Lego products, what world do these clowns live I want as many people as possible to know what this bunch are like and how they treat their customers Thank you Lego.

RUHE IN FRIEDEN LEGO

On June the 2nd I downloaded the Lego Builder software from their website and built a thing to ask for a quote. The software works only in offline mode so I couldn't send the file with the info and asked for help with the live chat. Yvonne replied to send her an email attaching the file, which I did. Then Yvonne mailed me back stating she can't open the lxf file and asked for a pdf or excel file instead. I was confused since the purpose of the lxf is indeed to give the exact data about number of pieces, colours and shape for them to provide a quote, a thing I really can't see how would be possible on a pdf. So I suggested her to simply go on their website, download their software (took me less than a minute to download) and open the lxf. Eileen replied "as my colleague said, send us a pfd or excel". I tried to somehow "save as or export" the lxf but there's no way to change it into a pdf, so I asked them "how". Jared then replied to give them a call. At this point I was curious on how on earth they can gather info of shape and colours from a 750 pieces pdf and expressed my perplexity. Chloe replied they can do with a pdf or even a screenshot. Amazed, I replied sending a screenshot attached in jpg. Today, 15th June, Brianna replied she can't download the software and she is unable to see the screenshot attached to my email. Now I am definitely persuaded they are simply mocking me. I just can't believe they "can't see a jpg attached". Their product is surely good but their customer service seems to be so stupid I wonder how do they dress up in the morning without harming themselves.
