Lmao. Okay so first off, it’s easy to use but there’s a catch. They advertise as free and keep (very well) hidden the fact that you’re gonna be charged for the use of this scam. Pretty sure that’s a violation of consumer rights in some way, and I’ll definitely be looking into that. Their bots on Reddit defend this place to the end by saying “Lol they don’t say it’s free.” But they do. They advertise it as free. They state NOTHING about fees until you’re already done building, THEN they bombard you with spam email after spam email demanding you purchase their trash. I’ll be forwarding this experience to the BBB and any other agency that can take action against these scam artists
Could not download/ upload resume or cover letter to any options…Adobe, Microsoft, p-text. It would crash, and send error code (s) I need to upload to online jobs, example; LinkedIn, Twine, etc. for remote jobs
Although they claim to be free, you will discover after spending time drafting your CV that you have to pay to download it. This is the very definition of a scam. You can't even delete your account. They try to justify their scam in every response here on Trustpilot. Avoid them! There are better services for better prices as well, including CVuser and others.
I clicked on their website because their advertising said it was "the best free resume builder." I spent several hours building a resume, but when I tried to download it I was taken to a billing page and could not back out of it. The only free download option is before that page in an obscure location. If you look further into the fine print on their billing page, the $3 they charge you is only for the first 14 days of access, after which you will be charged around $25/month. When I opened a new tab in my browser and tried to log into my account, the only thing on my account page was billing information. After logging into a separate device, I was finally able to find the work I'd done. The free text download that they offer you is completely useless. You'd be better off using Apple Pages or Microsoft Word since all you get from the download is an unformatted page of text. I know that they have responded to other one star reviews (using the exact same wording every time) saying that "they state on their home page that you have to pay for their templates and PDF downloads," but they only say this at the very bottom of their home page and you have to open closed drop-downs. This "service" is a complete waste of time and IS NOT FREE.
Wanted me to pay after putting a few hours worth of time in, so I just used the built in windows snipping tool to get around that and get it for free!

It is advertised as free but when you build the resume and waste your time in the end it will ask about subscription and force you to create an account, they are scammers and waste my time, i do not recommend it. shame on them

Resume builder.com uses predatory advertising claiming free services. It provides no useful functions and establishes monthly subscription with limited disclosure.
Support was great. Had my created resume scored through several services and never got better than 40/100. So I'm not too impressed with the AI help.
"Free" resume builder. Not free at all. Makes you pay at the end once you've spent an hour working on your resume. Basically traps you. What a scam
