The writer was not good. My cv ended up being repetitive and without depth. I have used the cv for a while, trusting the expertise. However, I received quite bad feedback. Also, basic errors were made throughout the cv eg using different tense for the writing that was unsuitable. Eg for my current job the writer used “I was responsible for xxx” And for some previous positions she wrote “my role involves….” These are basics that should really not happen when paying for this service. Overall, it takes me more time to fix the errors than this should have saved me.

The package i asked for was CV, Cover letter and Linkedin Profile. Overall Customer Service was responsive and welcoming. My writer Sally, needed very little direction from me, besides the general information i had provided. She obviously had a comprehensive understanding of what was required. I was impressed by the speed of the turn around, from order to delivery. Sally got it spot on. It was clear, direct and on target!... I've since canvassed opinions from friends and colleagues, who are all 100% impressed... Most of all i was relieved and happy. written communication isn't one of my strengths, so it was nice to turn it over to a professional and enjoy the results.

My sister suggested I use this company. I requested an express CV service and paid extra . I was told it was not possible to create one in less than 5 days. After some discussions I asked for a refund. In less than an hour a different person called me and agreed to allocate the request to a CV writer. It was followed up with an email confirming I would have a draft CV before 6pm the next working day. I was relieved. However, later that evening I had an email confirming I would be refunded. I was taken aback as I had not sought any assistance from anyone else as they stated they could do the job. I emailed and called and was told the following day there was some confusion and they could not do it despite the email stating I would have a draft before 6pm the next day. I was short of begging they assist me but to no avail. A total let down . I managed to compile my own with another company which was much cheaper and very easy using their template wording. It cost next to nothing (less than £10) and I got the job! Purple CV did refund me without quibble but I would not use them or recommend them.
