I went to buy a new guitar on Friday, 3rd Jan., and was prepared to spend up to £500. I wanted to find something lighter than my current LP copy. I spent around 20-25 minutes looking at the rack of guitars, occasionally taking one off its hook. Not one single member of staff came and asked if they could help, or offered to set-up a guitar for me to try, etc. A couple of staff walked past - one eating what I presumed was his lunch. Maybe I'm the "wrong" age/gender for PMT Music? Another lady said she'd actually been looked after, but she WAS with her teenage son.... Meanwhile, another teenage boy was bashing away on an electric keyboard so even if I'd been able to try a guitar, I probably wouldn't have been able to hear!! I definitely won't be a "bother" to them again.

I play guitar in a local band and have been playing for quite a few years and it is now time for me to teach my grandson how to play, so i have been looking for a starter guitar for a while. The process to purchase via the website was very easy, with the option of talking directly to somebody very helpful, and being given a tracking number almost straight after my purchase. I was informed only a couple of hours later that my purchase had been dispatched and it arrived very well packed, when they said it would. Great service.
When an order fell through due to a stock shortfall, PMT support notified me quickly, offering an alternative. My 1st choice was made on some specific features, of which the alternative was lacking. The amp I ordered was the last one and had been on display. They were honest enough to call me and tell me. They gave me the option to a have brand new item shipped from the supplier which, in the end, arrived the same day as the store one would have.
