ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.
Be aware that this is NOT a straightforward experience - Parklet WILL tell you that you are approved, and then turn around and drop your application a week later with no explanation. You are at the whim of the actual space owner, so just cut out the middleman and save yourself time. Not a good experience for a hard-of-hearing person either, with many phone calls being made despite a clear statement that I could not hear! Avoid.
Everything runs pretty smoothly. Parklet keep me well informed, and are very proactive in readvertising my garage in between tenants. This aspect works well also as they manage to find tenants normally relatively quickly.
Very dodge!!!!!!! Big fraud!!!!! Not give me back my deposit. I get garage for rent for 2 months . They change me one month extra on my bank account and now not give me back my deposit. Send me emails for login in my account for get back deposit but that not possible!!!! Gays that is not serious
