About Parklet

ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.

Simple and effective way to find a parking space for a reasonable price

Turned up at the booked slot after 1.5 hours drive with little kids. (3 year old and 9 month old baby) only to find the space was already taken. Parklet were not helpful at all; could not get hold of the owner and refunded the monies. Appalling. Did not offer any other solutions. Such owners should be charged or taken off the system. I had to drive another 40minutes to find parking. Needless to say,my children were agitated and we were extremely late for our booking at a place. Parklet made the whole experience terrible for us and we did not enjoy our day at all. Frustrating. Was hoping to use Parklet for the next 3 days of our stay in London but after this experience,I would not recommend the company to anyone at all! Never had such service anywhere else before. Beware!

Extremely helpful and efficient, even chased me when I didn't respond to a booking which I could have missed out on but thanks to them I didn't !

Once a tenant is identified, Parklet ensure everyone is kept informed for the smooth transition of the parking space access and will support you until all parties are happy. After which, all is transparent using their app. Thank you.

When I contacted ParkLet they responded quickly and it was the viewing and to sign the contract which took a bit longer.

ALL REVIEWS BELOW APPEAR TO BE FOR THE SPACE OWNERS, NOT THE PEOPLE RENTING ... TLDR - ****’s On initial enquiry I was told I couldn’t view the space as they wouldn’t tell me what number it was - I think I now know why ... First direct debit didn’t go through error with their system. Paid for a space under cover, space wasn't undercover. Couldn't get the permit, had to use temp ones. Someone then parked in the space I didn’t want but am now paying for. Had to go and pick the permit up from the owners go-between, out of my way. Then found out the space was wrong number. The new space is undercover, which is nice, as that's what I paid for, but I still didn’t have a permit. Then had to go back to get the new ticket from the owners go-between, again out of my way, in rush hour, at the time agreed to then wait 45 minutes for a no show - after being told he’d be in all night, and then saying he was 10 mins away, I got a message 2 hours later apologising and asking if I could go back the next day. I arranged Owners go-between to post next day, which he didn't. Then he wanted to come round when I was out, which he couldn't. Eventually turned up with the permit and asked for the other one, which is in the car so obviously I don’t have it. He told me to contact the other owner as I had his permit, and to sort this out between us as obviously his time is far more important than ours ... which I am doing as it appears these clowns haven’t quite got the concept of a customer service, customer support or being about the tell the difference between 2 different 3 digit numbers. Oh and I got an email telling me the guy from the other space needs it tonight, sent at 17.53 - no phone call, I saw the message at 21.00, tonight. So, don't get your hopes up, you'll also find you get better customer support from my cats. I'll give you their email address. All of this has taken about 3+ weeks and not got a proper apology of offer for them to get of their arses to actually sort anything out in person. Anyone from Parklet reading this... I’ll have 6 months free parking and an official apology and we’ll call it square. Looking forward to no response, which is possibly more helpful than the usual ones.

Very secure, space in a gated residential courtyard accessed with a dongle, outside the congestion zone, reasonable price compared to others nearby.
