This company do not even deserve one star, appalling customer service, they tell you they’ve switched from current supplier when they haven’t and take your money, customer service line just takes your details and promise a call back, they can’t help. I’ve switched to another supplier and await a response after submitting a formal complaint. Over £100 pounds in 6 weeks taken, when they are not my supplier. Cannot produce a statement or anything. Diabolical! Avoid at all costs!

Neo has nice prices and is attractive. However, I wanted only GAS from Neo (because Octopus Go is cheaper on electricity when you charge your EV at home). Against my clearly expressed instructions on the phone, Liyam, the advisor, signed me up for both fuels which made my electricity transfer to Octopus fail. Very annoying. What a slippery lying salesman :(

I have to suspect that the positive reviews have come from those in this company. This company is run by a director of Euston Energy who I've been with two years. For the last twelve months I've been asking Euston to deal with a problem I have with my meter, to no avail. The Ombudsman has been looking at my complaint for several months and has now escalated it to Ofgem as the director has made no response to the Ombudsman or me. It's very possible the director of Euston, and Neo (same person) will soon have their licences revoked due to non compliance. I'd advise strongly against using Neo.

NEO ENERGY: APPALLING SERVICE AND COMPANY. FRONT OFFICE DISCONNECTED FROM BACK OFFICE. THEY DO NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER. WHEN YOU GET INTO TROUBLE, YOU REMAIN INTO A KAFKAIAN TROUBLE. NEVER AGAIN. Hello. do NOT switch with these guys. They were unable to switch me from my current provider without any explanation nor apologies. I found out when my current provider still asked me to pay the fuel bills. Neo-Energy did however take 2 payments without providing the service. I have been writing and calling them to get a refund over the last 2 months WITHOUT any basic customer service and attention. APPALLING service and company. NEVER AGAIN If I could put a ZERO star rating, I would definitely would.

Do not go near this company they take your money never send you a bill and never responded to phone calls emails or complaints I have left them and am still waiting to get my first bill 3 months later crooks.

Very pleasant experience dealing with this young lady she was very polite spoke very clearly and was happy to repeat anything and speak slowly so I could write information down. Sent email to confirm costs instantly as requested. She is a credit to your company.

Do not bother with this company! I changed my mind next day after a call from them to change supplier due to reading the reviews. What a joke, spent 20 minutes being on hold after being told I would be put through to customer service, only to be connected to the lady who signed me up!! When I explained I had changed my mind she became very rude and put me on hold to connect me to customer service. After 10 minutes I hung up. Sent them an email instead got a reply to say sorry I had changed my mind. Two days later I get an email asking for bank details to set up a direct debit!!! I give up what a joke. Have now contacted my existing company to ask them to stop any change of supplier.

100% do not use this company. Appalling service, constantly being told they will ring me back and they have escalated my complaint etc etc. Still nothing after endless emails and calls over several weeks. Finally spoke to the bank who have refunded the extra d/d payments they took out of my account but guess what, still nothing from Neo Energy. Beware!

Signed up through a comparison site, assumed that it would be a legit company. I have been with them since April 21. Issues: 1. No welcome letter/information about your account or tariff. 2. Never been given account number 3. Never been sent a bill 4. No account portal!? So you can’t access any of your details/bills etc. 5. 2x Email - no reply 6. Spoke to Nicola via chat to provide meter readings and request bills, it took over 30minutes to sort this out. When I asked when I would receive the bills answer: ‘when accounts have processed it’. I can’t believe such an unprofessional company can be operating. How I wish I read the reviews. I have requested a move to octopus but don’t feel confident that I will get a refund of energy I haven’t used from reading the reviews. However, I’m prepared to take this through resolver/ombudsman if not.

Please read the reviews before signing up with Neo energy oh i wish i had done that been with them for 2 weeks only no response at all when ringing no emails take money from account for what don't know they then cancelled our contract with them spoke to citizens advice they were great with all the info to help us they are crap would not give them the light of day.

As with all the other reviews this company is a waste of time. No customer service at all, they can't see your account on their system, called every week for a month after becoming a new customer, no-one calls you back. They used incorrect estimated readings despite us having a Smart Meter. I have cancelled my direct debit after one payment and will move companies again, shocking !!

Despite initial delays of getting anyone to speak with me as a prospective energy customer, some individuals at neo energy deliver outstanding customer service, namely Liyam who helped me see my switch over through to the end and ensured that I have a direct line to reach him. Given that Neo has one of the cheapest energy rates in the country, it's worth switching over. However, have patience until the actual switch date before people will contact you over the phone. Until then, it is tricky to get a hold of them. Hence 5 stars for Liyam and -1 star for Neo in general = 4stars.

What an awful company - I'm only leaving a 1 rating because I can't leave a zero! I moved to them in April - no initial problems and it was cheaper. I was happy! however, on June the 1st they took 3 payments instead of 1 - I attempted to report it thinking it would be a quick apology and refund... how wrong could one be?? their customer service centre is a joke! - the people you speak to do not have access to your account and can only pass on your message - after 12 phone calls and 10 emails only ever 1 callback where I had to explain the issue yet again - no one has called back since. I wish I had checked the reviews for them here before signing up - would suggest all other potential customers avoid them at all cost!

I wrote a previous review and after dealing with Liyam I felt my confidence had been restored,however ,since then I have been told I can't join because I am a commercial user (false) I therefore asked for my money back, no reply to a number of emails. I sent a letter to the complaints department registered post, returned yesterday, marked return to sender!So I'm off to ofgem to recover 3 payments they helped themselves to which they won't return even though they have never registered me as a customer and never supplied any electricity to!! Avoid this so called company like the plague!!! I withdraw any positive remarks I made before unreservedly¡!!!!!!!!!

Damian from UKTarrifs was great. He was very patient in explaining all of the details regarding the neoenergy deals and standing charges. Hadn't received the agreement for a couple of days, gave him a call and he was able to sort that out very quickly. I cannot say much about neoenergy as a whole company since it's hasn't been a long enough time with them but Damian was very helpful.

OH dear, wish I had read these reviews. I received a call very quickly after requesting info online and was signed up equally quickly however since then I have not received any bills and have emailed at least 10 times, phoned twice and even written a letter to change my direct debit because I have changed banks but have not had a single reply. How can a utility company operate like this?

1. I requested access to my Neo energy on line account, Evidently this is not possible as they are building the site at this time. 2. Have not received a bill yet to view. 3. Meter readings have been submitted every month. 4. Account seems to be running fine but it does need customer access availability on line. Lyiam was as helpful as he could be on customer service.
