Called Metro Rod out over last weekend to specifically unblock my kitchen sink drain. No other reason. They failed dismally and their technician said he would come back with a solution after speaking to his office. No response from his office so I employed another Company who unblocked the drain in an hour. However Metro Rod still insisted on billing me for their failure to unblock my drain. £204. When I protested I was subjected to Gobbledygook speak. I have paid the bill under duress. I do not recommend Metro Rod to anyone. You will see Metro Rod’s response below. Did what they asked in their response. Guess what???? Absolutely no response. I am not surprised,

Our septic tank was emptied this week after a few months of having a broken pump...so it had literally become septic....wish I had known about these guys before...Gary did a grand job of cleaning the system up & was also knowledgable, informative with a pleasant friendly manner

awful communication. very rude. and a complete fraud. quoted one price, came out to site in a suit and the smalelst car with no gear, so a complete waste of time. quoted then nearly 10times the price and we had a dran specialist on site with us to avoid situations like this. very sad that companies like this 'think; they can get away with ripping people off.

Turned up when they said they would, dealt swiftly with an unpleasant situation, and verified that the fix was successful with that green dye stuff. Should I need a drain cleared, they will be the first people I call.

Engineer Keelan, was dispatched to investigate a blocked sewer via our House Insurance Emergency cover. Even though this would therefore have been a fixed price job, Keelan took his time to carefully analyse the situation and removed the blockage which was in an inaccessible location well down the pipe. Top marks to Keelan, as it wasn't inaccessible for much longer - as Keelan took the time to trace the pipework and identified an inspection cover that we had no idea existed, as it had been buried under about 40cm of soil. If I was Keelan's Boss, I would give him a bonus. Just saying...

Sent 1 workman out and says he had exposed drains? when it was myself That had opened up the manholes he then said we would need More work and we would need a costing on this and also said we would not get charged for his time. As they would knee I’d to come back out after having to chase them up numerous times went with another company !!!!

Zero respect or professionalism to me as a member of the public attempting to get to my home, impeded by their van parked in the middle of the road. I was told 5 mins until they would move-as they couldnt possibly move to one side so i turned the ignition off and then made a tel call in the intervening period. About a min into my call Metrorod decided they wanted to go and gestured at me to move-I indicated that I was on the phone so the young guy in the cab decided to at first glare at me and then laugh uncontrollably at me. He then got out of the cab and walking towards my car repeatedly and in ever more aggressive tone demanded I move-NOW!!!..I once more pointed to my phone but did he care? Nope. He refused to give his name and walked off. I contacted head office to report this however was told there is no facility for complaints on a sat. I was then called the following tuesday I think and told Metro rod took this all extremely seriously and they would fully deal with it-upto and including suspension. Last weekend Metro Rod yet again nearly placing our estate in lockdown as yet again for probably the 30th time they fail to fix blocked drains--who is behind the wheel in the cab glaring at me as I drive past--you got it--well done Metro rod for upholding the highest standards of professionalism and respect towards me--a junk company

The staff of Metro Rod carried out a very efficient job. The cost involved was very reasonable.

Came within a couple of hours (22nd Oct Hurst area) and fixed the blocked sink in under 30 minutes. Last week paid Plumbersimmediately £275 to not solve the problem. Lesson learned - Blockages call Metrorod and not a plumber
