I was glad i found Medcerts to train me to further my education in healthcare profession as a Medical billing specialist. As an older student, i was wondering how i was going to do well in online class, but i was happy with the help and support of my course advisor who was there to answer my questions, and concerns. The motivation i received from her help and encouragement, during the training, makes me want to come back and train more for a couple of certification. My career coach who also helped me throughout the journey, showing me how to write my resume, and how to search for job in a way i never thought i could search for the profession i was into, made me even refer a friend of mine who was looking for a certification program to apply for a program with Medcerts. This was a well established training program with a lots of benefits. My experience with Medcerts has been nothing short of amazing. As a military spouse, there is always a lot going on such as child care, full time job, chores, etc. But Medcerts gives you the ability to be flexible with your time. I was able to complete my first course and obtain my Phlebotomy certification in a short period of time and have decided to return to obtain another certification in Pharmacy within an eight month time frame. The program is so easy to navigate. Courses are broken down into weeks and further broken down into lessons for each week. I loved that I could tackle two weeks of work in a single day when I had the chance and then take a breather for a week if I chose to. My student advisor reached out to me weekly and was always available for questions or concerns. The registration process with Ms. Lisa was a breeze. Not sure of what you want to do? Medcerts offers an array of medical professional certification as well as IT courses. Before you even choose a pathway, you are given the job growth potential, the average pay for the certified technician etc. I tried traditional universities and it wasn't for me. This was and is, hands down, the easiest and best experience I've had with furthering my education.

When I initially started my Medical Billing Specialist course I had no idea what the course entails. I dived in immediately and started my exploration throughout my lessons. During each lesson I was eager to move on to the next as each lesson grab my attention more. The instructions were easy to follow. I should also mention my student advisor Ms. Dubose whose kind words and expertise help to guide me. We also had a very informative orientation class which answered my questions and guided me in completing my course. Thank you to Ms. Dubose and Medcert.

I love that the program is work at your own pace but I’m not a big fan on finding my own clinical site. I finished my program in June… I have yet been able to secure a site to do my clinical’s so I haven’t been able to take the NHA exam for phlebotomy.

MedCerts was a great experience. The self-learning pace worked well for my schedule and I felt I was given many tools to be well prepared for my exam which I passed with flying colors. My student advisor Jamie was amazing. I regularly got encouraging voicemails and emails from her which helped to keep me motivated. If you are thinking of using MedCerts for your certification trainings I highly recommend it.
