Great knives, delighted I was able to get a replacement for previous carving knife.
I ordered a Dutch oven, v heavy and had paid for express delivery for €20, after ordering I realised I ordered the wrong one. Contacted Knives and Tools and was no problem returning, free postage and they even refunded the cost of the original delivery. Reordered straight away, excellent service.
Broker folding knife. Fast delivery. The knife is well made, solid and a great fit. Opening action is positive and snappy. Only negative is it could have been sharper out of the box.
IF YOU LIVE IN IRELAND, AVOID ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THESE ABSOLUTE TIME-WASTERS. They accepted an order / transaction even though they did not have the item in stock at the time the order was placed. It turned out that not only was the item not in stock but they had no idea when it would be in stock. Instead of simply not accepting orders / transactions where they clearly could not fulfil them, they accepted them, took my money and just sat on it without any proactive attempts to update me or assure me that this item would ever be back in stock. I must’ve sent about a dozen chaser emails to their customer service team and got responses from different agents almost every time, always assuring me that the item would be back in stock soon. I have since sourced the item from other vendor which had the item in stock and did not pull any schemes like these time-wasters. Also, Knives&Tools is not Irish nor is it based / located in Ireland (they’re in the Netherlands). Your shipping times will also be extended compared to if they were actually based in Ireland. It simply has an Irish domain name, meaning that you will be fully liable for import VAT. They intentionally and deceitfully use an Irish domain name so buyers believe that they’re based in Ireland. They’re not.
Products arrived well packaged and in good time. Pricing was also very competitive. Recommend 100%

It's easy to earn a 5 star review when things go right. It's when things go wrong that we find out if the high ratings are deserved. My order arrived on time but one of the items was faulty, straight out of the box. I raised an issue via their online system a week ago, including photos showing the problem, but have yet to hear back from them. UPDATE: Shortly after writing this review I was contacted by customer service and a replacement item was sent out without any fuss. A quicker initial response would have been good, but I’m happy that my issue has been resolved.
