Response to the firms response - The firm have flagged my honest review of their behaviour. The reply is again not an honest reply and they had multiple opportunities to respond to my enquiry and I have contacted Trust Pilot and offered my evidence to support my honest review. Please do not waste your time. Made enquiries to this firm after being recommended. After being told costs over the phone I was awaiting for the costs to be provided in an email. The costs provided did not match the website and therefore not transparent. A requirement of the Solicitor Regulation Authority. I was also advised that they would find a barrister who was specialised in the area of law my matters related to. 5 weeks have now passed, deadlines approaching and no communication from this firm. I have given them over 14 days to reply, emails requesting information on costs have been ignored and they wanted my ID to open a file, refused to return calls, failed to give me the information so I can make an informed decision. 1 solicitor at their firm was provided with files to consider matters and then came up with her own narrative and version of events based on no facts, clearly the files had not been read nor would she advise if there were costs involved or was it being considered on a No Win No Fee. She left it till a week before to tell me she was going on holiday and therefore would have never been able to deal with the matter nor meet a deadlines and she wasted 5 weeks of my time. When speaking with her on the phone, she was quick to jump to conclusions and was rude. Not proactive, no communication, no costs put in writing and when someone clearly refuses to put in writing what was discussed, met with no information about a barrister they said they could get gut instinct was telling me not to trust them.

Excellent service from Nazanin at Khan Mather Solicitors. Nazanin kindly took on my case after a previous solicitor dropped the ball and she was quick, efficient and maintained a sense of humour throughout.

Mr Saqib Khan is a perfect gentleman and despite not being a conveyancing solicitor (I think he deals with criminal law), he assisted us through a very difficult move as we were returning to the UK from overseas and being in our 80s we were not used to words like Portal etc. He ensured we were constantly being informed at what stage our house purchase was at and explained how we could transfer the funds necessary with the minimum amount of stress. I used this solicitor firm for the purchase of a property I purchased at auction. I was assigned a trainee who made a right mess of it all. Basic things such as emailing the solicitor of the seller was a major task. Despite being given all the details to email the solicitor, he missed out a letter from the solicitors email and every time I asked him for an update he would tell me the solicitor hadn't responded yet, after a couple of weeks waiting, I got the contact details of the sellers solicitor only to find out that he hadn't received any communication. I went back to my Khan Mathers solicitors and discovered his error. Its so basic. He was keen to send me the invoice for his service though - he did that part well.
