I found the process of purchasing my new car from this company very stressful (particularly payment) However I'm quite sure most elderly folk like myself would experience the same problems (especially with passwords!) I have to say that Kymberley Cant - the sales person undevoured to make the process as smooth as possible and was very helpful in showing me the various features of the new vehicle. I would have no hesitation in recommending John Banks Honda and I am very happy with my purchase.

In one word Rob, he was excellent you couldn't ask for a more helpful person, I was about to go and buy a car from another dealer as we had given up with a particular branch not being very helpful and it appeared they were not interested in selling a car, which was a shame as they have been excellent in the past. Rob noticed my existing car when it came in for service and asked if I had considered upgrading, he was on the ball from the start, this is the 3rd car I have had from John Banks and previously always a good experience. Long may it continue.

This is the first time I have purchased a Honda car and I was not disappointed with the service I received from Rhys at Ipswich Honda. He was most helpful and understanding of the situation I found myself in and took time to find the best solution to my problem. He was so friendly and knowledgeable I had no hesitation buying a lovely 2nd hand Honda Jazz from him.

My name is Mark Larner. I brought my Honda NT1100 reg number EO73PYL from John banks in Colchester last September. From start to finish the service was awful. When I brought the bike in to have its 600 mile service I asked Ben your technician to test drive the bike as a banging noise was coming from it. He told me the chain was loose and he tested the bike for a few miles before and after. Unfortunately I wrote the mileage down and he hadn’t tested it. The banging noise was still there. I then took it to another shop and they tightened the chain correctly and it stopped. I also tried numerous times to contact the manager but he refused to answer calls saying he was always busy. Funny how he wasn’t so busy when I brought the bike from you.

We bought a car from Banks in Bury (Rob) and had a good experience. It had a minor fault noticed after we took ownership and this was fixed by Banks when we brought it to their attention.

I was helped by Charlie at John Banks to find a car that suited our needs. He helped me sort through the complex choice of hybrid engine technology and car size. He arrange for us to have a test drive so that we could get a feel for driving the car and check the fit in our car port. We found that the Honda Jazz offered spacious accommodation for tall adults in both the front and two main rear seats. I found the hybrid engine with automatic transmission was easy to use and pleasant to drive. Charlie took time to explain the advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and collision avoidance. I am confident that he helped us choose the right car for us.

We were helped out by Rhys who honestly was the best person we could of hoped for to help us out with getting our new car, he was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process! 10/10 service would definitely recommend to others if asked!

Bought Honda HRV from John Banks Ipswich, lovely car just what I wanted, sales assistant Kimberley Cant was so helpful and made things very simple and straight forward - excellent customer service from them.

We had purchased from John Banks Suzuki previously and were very happy with their service. We decided to change our Swift for another Suzuki as we liked the make. Rob spoke to us as soon as we arrived despite already being busy with other customers. We waited and had a complimentary coffee. Rob then arranged for someone else to organise a test drive a Suzuki Ignis which we had seen on the forecourt. We negotiated with Rob and agreed the sale and trade in. We then noticed some small scratches on the Ignis so we asked for them to be done. Without any debate Rob agreed the repair before collection. We collected the car as arranged, the repair was done the paperwork was signed and we were away. Rob also took time to point out the dashboard layout, pared our mobile with the vehicle and explained how to use our mobile as satnav on the display. Rob was patient and helpful. I popped into John Banks Suzuki with the intention of just having a look at a new Swift. After a short conversation with Rob Beaton the sales advisor i was able to test drive one. They had a good deal on a Swift Hybrid and i just had to have one. Great dealership, very nice staff, great deals!

From the first contact everything was handled in a professional way. Originally I was not going to buy another new car but having taken a test drive in the Honda hybrid sport I was very impressed with the performance, ride & layout. We were allowed to take the vehicle for an extended run with no time pressure. After some haggling we arrived at a deal which was very satisfactory for us. We were very impressed with the way Kimberley Cant dealt with our purchase. We were always treated in a very courteous way by all of the staff - including the manager Ed who made the tea for me whilst I was waiting for an MOT on my old car. We have used John Banks Honda for many years and never had cause for complaint. Having a car brand and dealership you can trust is so important these days now that DIY maintenance is less feasible.

Rob was very kind and patient with me whilst I explained everything. He was also very accommodating and fully understood my circumstances and always tried to find the best solution. Very professional and very kind. The atmosphere was lovely and every sales associate made sure to come and say hello.

It was a very relaxed experience buying a used Honda jazz from John Banks. Kymberley was really helpful and charming. And helped us sort out minor problems.

My purchase of a used Honda CRV from John Banks of Ipswich has been a most satisfactory experience. Within days of my spotting the vehicle for sale at their Cambridge branch, the car was delivered to their Ipswich showroom for me to test drive. After my agreement to purchase the vehicle, I was offered a reasonable part-exchange price for my Honda Accord Estate. Within a matter of days, the new car was serviced, MOT’d (including some small repairs), valeted and taxed. The whole transaction was guided with professionalism and efficiency by Charlie Coe. He showed the kind of patience normally attributed to someone showing their grandparents how to use the internet. No question was deemed too stupid. I would heartily recommend buying from Charlie and John Banks.

A change of model My wife and I decided to change from our Civic to something with a higher level seating due to a back issue. We initially looked at a Jazz as we had one in the past, but after a test drive we purchased an HR-V. We had excellent service from Rhys Measor who was very patient and informative. I am very pleased with the model I purchased and collected in December, and am looking forward to seeing how it performs on my next holiday.

We decided to trade in our MX5 for a new model and couldn’t have found a better and efficient dealership than John Banks Colchester. We would especially like to thank Alfie for his time spent on the handover. We found him very personable and knowledgeable.

Saw the Honda Jazz on 30th December 2023 for sale. Wanted to buy. Kymberley Cant was the sales staff. She was excellent and helped with all the information available and answering any questions. Booked to pay and collect our new car on 6th January 2024. Arrived on the 6th and purchased the car. Kymberley was again excellent in explaining everything and answering questions.
