Love the idea of the app and what it can do, but there are some serious changes and updates that could occur to make it so much better! Every time I open the app, it takes forever to download the information before you can access it. Constantly get error messages. And it needs to be able so that users can access any specific date to look and see what is scheduled off. The current app only allows "Todays Events" which is fine, but while approving additional time off requests, would be great if you could find out who was already scheduled off. Also on "Todays Events" if there are more than 7 listed, you cannot scroll down to see whom the others are on the screen.

The app constantly experiences errors, requires administrator to go in un-select employees from supervisor and than go in and reassign. It truly is more trouble than the value. Very difficult to reach support. It is a very disappointing purchase. HR Director

I run a small business with 20 employees and purchased the attendance app. I already had a different HR app that handle everything except attendance so am very happy with the simple choice they offer. I like their customer service, they are friendly and easy to reach. Here are some functions I wish they improve in the future: 1, Ability to input consecutive events by dragging With the current system, when you enter vacation days, you need to click each day and type same info over and over. When I talked to the customer service, they said they were adding the function in the future. Hope it comes out soon. 2, Better report system Currently they have very poor report system. It prints out a calendar with marking on it (sick, vacation, whatever you input) but doesn't calculate time missed automatically. It shows vacation & sick hours used in a small column but does not show the number of tardiness, no shows, or all other events. I need to hand calculate everything in order to use it for our employee review and am wishing I can eliminate the time loss in the future. 3, More clear function button I needed to call their customer service and ask how to delete my entry. The delete button is hidden in the top area you make an entry, and it is very difficult to find. They need to clearly label the button instead of using three tiny dots that are easily missed.

Very affordable attendance product but it is very slow to load and I have had trouble getting locked out of it a few times after renewal. Good basic product

Layout of view of attendance record. I work mostly in the attendance record section. I don't like the fact that the headers and extra sections makes it hard to see the top of the card with employee names when working in the middle or last months of the year. Total view of the card is more important and the other sections. Simple layout change of making the card the largest area. Also, the 2nd page for notes on absences is great ! Thanks

The time off request and attendance apps are good but cumbersome. One should automatically update the other and they don't. Once the employee goes through the time off request process, management approves or denies it. But then you have to go under the attendance app to assign a category, vacation, ill, etc. or it will not calculate the hours. At the very least, you should be able to do this from the same app.

I do love these Apps but there are a few issues with certain ones. The time off if you put multiple items on one day you can not see them. I use it as a on call schedule as well so sometimes overlapping is necessary and I would like to add more than one date options. The other is issue I have all the time is the calendar is not showing up very well and most of the time I have to restart the system to get what you want. It want be there or it takes like 10 minutes to come up which is just a bother. I hope that they continue to update their system.

I like the timely a replies & the streamlined app, and tools, there very easy to use, and the price is freaking amazing.... I wish they offered branding abilities for businesses.

Useful for newer businesses. We use the attendance calendar & the application. The more employees you have the slower the calendar becomes. I'm finding I have delays & issues, it becomes very slow & you have to refresh the page multiple times in one use. For the most part it's a great tool. Just needs to have a few bugs fixed.

I work for a small company, so far I am not a fan of any of this Smart App system. Had trouble figuring out where my Poster Guard account was and if it was still valid. I don't need a fully blown HR online experience for our few employees, maybe others do.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of this attendance app The price is great and it is easy to use. I have asked tech support a few questions along the way and I appreciate their instruction and support. The only reason I didn't give this app a 5 star rating is because it is SO SLOW!! It takes FOREVER between computer actions for the app to catch up and quite often it will freeze and I have to exit and re-enter and then re-check the work I have already done to make sure that it loaded. If there is anything that can be done for to correct this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We have had a great experience so far with HRdirect Smart Apps. We are using this app to track attendance and request offs. The app is easy to use and set up was a breeze. I would suggest this to anyone looking for an affordable and efficient way to track attendance.

Like make some suggestions. 1. Have the option to use "Paid" or "Unpaid". We prefer to have this hidden. 2. When a employee looks at the Time off request Calendar. On the days already booked, to have a little number on the date to show how many people are off that day. 3. Have a auto decline limit, and please contact your supervisor if employee submits a request. ie: if we allow 10 employees off any given day, the 11th employee will get the message to contact supervisor. 4. On the "Admin" calendar, have it so it shows who's off on the calendar ie: google calendar. Plus with a link on the calendar to the employee's info to cancel or modify times/dates. 5. Is there an default option that the time off accumulated only counts Mon - Sat, not counting Sun and holidays? 6. Make it mobile and tablet friendly Hope you find the info helpful. Looking forward to future updates lol. So far we like your product.

I demo'ed a couple of the apps. There was no tutorial. I contacted them to ask for a phone call walk through. Someone agreed to call me and never did. Still would like to purchase these apps if I can get a walk through of how they work.

I like what the time off request is able to do but the app is really slow. I would like to have the employees be able to be assigned to one manager and possibly have an office manager receive the requests as well.

I reached out to them interested in a Time Tracking/Calendar product for my small/medium sized company. I was met with a "chat window", I asked several questions with the expectation they would offer to call me and further explain their products. Nope. They never offered to call me, or email me. They sent me a trial account, which was useless as they offer time tracking/calendars, but don't offer time accrual. I would need to do that monthly, manually. No thanks.
