Cancelled two appointments at very short notice. I had to take two days off work and then a 3rd day for the successful visit. Don't think the very broad timings from 8am to 6pm are helpful as you cannot plan your day. This really needs to be addressed. Engineer was good however and service took less than 30 mins

My boiler kept losing pressure. It was easy to book the engineer with 247 and got an appointment within couple of days. He gave me a call 15mins before he arrived and the boiler was fixed within 30mins. I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend 247.

Overall my experience with 24/7 home rescue has been nothing short of terrible. I took their insurance out two years ago paying around 240 pound of premiums. I told them about my boiler and not once did anyone ring me to tell me how this insurance worked, what BER was and that in the likely event of a breakdown, my boiler would be deemed BER due to its age (17 years) Their engineer that visited initially for the boiler, diagnosed a expansion vessel and prv problem. After telling customer service that this diagnosis was incorrect, as I already had an external expansion vessel, they were not interested and wouldn't revisit, I have a friend who is a gas safe engineer and he let visited to perform his own diagnosis, he let me know that all I needed was a PRV so that was 100 quid for the callout wasted. So I get my friend to fix the PRV, boiler works again, no issues. The engineer at the time, Farhan, should not be trusted nor should the company, I tried across multiple calls to get them to understand the miss diagnosis but they weren't interested, instead, began calling out my friend to provide a gas engineer report. One caveat to all this, my boilers PRV is NOT on the gas side so no gas safety report or certificate was required. Now, onto my latest issue. When 24/7 deemed my boiler BER, they cancelled my insurance and left me with just plumbing cover. I developed 2 leaks in my basement and again had to pay 24/7 £200 (95 per problem) to come out. Sean Stubbs was my engineer and he was professional, knowledgeable and so courteous he really is a star of the show at 24/7, it's just a shame he works for such a cowboy outfit. Sean had both leaks sorted in about 30 minutes and explained a lot of the plumbing systems for me so I could understand them in much further depth. If this review was just based on Sean, he would get 10/10 But because this review is on 24/7 as a company, I cannot recommend them, their customer service is dire, all their agents are based in a foreign country and are just not interested in helping you the customer, a quick grab for your money and that's the most effort they will put in, everything else is just none of their business. Sean, if you see this, and I hope you do, you are a real diamond in the rough, be proud of yourself and your service. 24/7 home rescue, you can go die in a fire. --- Follow up --- A nice lady from 24/7 have me a call and discussed the issues I raised, as nice as the lady was, and the effort she put in on behalf of 24/7, I would still not use 24/7 home rescue even if a gun was pointed at my temple. I was also asked to change my review based solely on the experience that Shaun gave me during my visit, I refused and will not change the review as this would paint an unfair picture of the drastic customer service I received. Sean, thank you again for your hard work. 24/7, your company and brand cannot die fast enough.

Lee, the engineer who attended was very friendly and efficient. Although he doesnt normally work in our area, we would be very happy to have any future work done by him.
