I have been a Fundbox customer for years and have paid off over 40 draws early. I just use it for short term cash flow. Suddenly I was 'paused' for drawing funds. I have tried to resolve but never receive solid answers. I would like to continue this mutually beneficial relationship, but they are making it impossible. Great, they have a bot writing replies. Sincere huh Also, how did they remove all the simialr negative comments from trust pilot?

I've used Fundbox for several years. They have been beneficial for short-term working capital needs. Their customer service is next level, so for anyone in this space, I can't recommend them enough.

I am reading these reviews and it is sad to say that fundbox is being a loan predator as some negative reviews show. Wish I would have came here and seen these reviews before applying. I was approved for a credit line and made 3 withdrawals 3 seperate times. All of my payments were made as it is a weekly debit from my business account. I knew what the weekly payments were, and I made sure to calculate all expenses based on that, and to have more than enough funds in the account to take care of the payments at any time. Everything was fine as I was using the line of credit for cash flow on most of my net 30 accounts. Then all of a sudden as you can see in many negatives reviews here account goes into "review" and I was unable to withdraw any funds. I was surprised. Again nothing wrong, all payments made perfectly but they are pausing my account and going under review. It is paused as of right now with no ability to withdraw, but looking at other reviews it seems that this might ultimately lead to account shut down for no reason. I am writing my review now because I am at a loss of words. Why would they do this type of thing and put people in even greater risks? I accepted orders and took net payments from my regular customers due to having this credit line and now without warning or even a phone call I get a email that saying that I cant use the credit line. Putting me in an even greater disadvantage leverage wise, then when I started. Also to reiterate this is with all payments made as agreed!! I wonder if they actually thought that people would make monthly, quarterly, and annual plans based on this credit line. Didn't know this was a day by day thing. Anyways no one reached out to me I logged in and saw that I couldn't use the account anymore so I called customer service and they didn't help at all. Response from them was basically like if it happens all the time. They basically said continue making the payments until it is all paid to $0 then inform us so we could process review and see if we want to open up your account. Review could take up to ten business days. Excuse me, but that is not a credit line. I did not default on the account. If you did not do your due diligence on my company beforehand then why give me the credit line in the first place? The crazy and most ironic thing is that as I was looking up emails for this review, I noticed fundbox sent me an email the LITERAL DAY BEFORE stating that I have unused credit to be used! Almost 50% of the credit line wasn't being used so they sent me an email to remind me to use it. The exact email says "Thank you for being a Fundbox customer. Our records show that you have available credit in your account.* The funds you see in your dashboard are already approved and are ready to help you grow your business." You cant make this stuff up. If your are so worried about my account that it has to shutdown then why send me this email the DAY BEFORE?? I know fundbox would read this and reply with the same nonsense copy and paste/ ai virtual assistant reply of "At Fundbox, we strive to provide the best service possible to our customers and I’m sorry to hear we have missed that mark. Please contact our team at feedback@ fundbox. com with the email address associated with the account, and details of the interaction and we would be happy to look into this further." To that I would say how about you guys reach out to me? How about you guys actually call your clients and let them know whats going on? You are connected to my quickbooks, and can see every transaction. If you actually called me, I would be glad to give you the reason for all incoming and outgoing payments. But I am sure I'm hooked up to some algorithm in the cloud that closes down accounts when it doesn't understand something. I understand you guys want to protect yourself, but protect yourself by actually getting to know your customers and working with them. Its an example of building trust with a family, saying I'll give you a home to stay in. Then all of a sudden in the middle of the night telling that same family to leave within 30 minutes! Why even give them the option in the first place? I don't really understand how our country allows this. I wish in the future I could start a company that just gives out loans and lines of credit to people and then make bank by cancelling their financial products without rhyme, reason or prior notice. I would make a lot of money leveraging their debt against them, especially knowing they don't want to default on their credit or business. But anyways to the people at fund box, wanted to let you know, we are actual businesses, and we are actual people. Not some line item on a spreadsheet to prey on, and I hope someone in your company actual cares and understands that. For any social media influencers (Tik-Tok, Youtube, Facebook etc..) Please feel free to use this review for any of your content.

I like the hassle free process, and the ability to choose the time limit to pay back funds.

After being thrown away from our credit line and forced to pay off the whole amount without any prior notice, we started looking for alternative solutions and figured out that Fundbox was a significant burden on our business. With their terms it is not the thing you need to grow your business.

Terrible support. I was a customer for about a year and a half and then all of a sudden my account went into "review" and I was unable to withdraw any funds. No payment was ever late and I usually paid the balance off early. This may be the reason because they lose money that way. Anyway I emailed customer support several times and most recently they said they cannot "see" account info and I would have to write and letter and mail it to them and await a rely by mail. Really?? It's 2023 and I have to write a letter and send it by mail? Wow. I'll be glad to take my business elsewhere.

I've been a Fundbox customer for 4 years, and have had a mostly positive experience with them. However, they now have a "connection issue" with my bank that they've been unable to resolve now for over 5 weeks. They have no alternative options, just a "you need to wait until our third party fixes it". So if you rely on them to help with the cash flow for your business, expect to be stonewalled if something goes wrong with their technology, because they have no manual review process. And I just constantly get strung along by their customer service reps with no solutions.

It was unexpected and frustrating to see our account closed without explanation.

Fundbox has agents that lie or intentionally hold information about how they process payments. I will make sure I pay them last as they will tie up your money for several weeks even when you bring your account current

I started working with Fundbox in June of 2022. Suddenly in early March 2023, despite a flawless repayment history, they froze my account without explanation. I was given no information upon inquiring about what was happening. The only thing I was told was that I needed to pay my balance down to end the review. Suddenly no longer having access to my revolving line of credit was tough, but I still managed to stay current on all my payments. Then at the end of March, they abruptly revoked access to my line of credit entirely. I will finish my payments (still all on time), and I never want to work with them again. They certainly aren't trying to help small business owners with these types of actions - no warnings, no communication, and no opportunity to address anything - although what could I have addressed? The worst.
