The representative from the appliance company was very knowledgable. He explained everything to me. I only had to wait two days after I called him to have my appliance repaired. I would highly recommend him and intend to use this company for my appliance cleaning.
I recently submitted a claim for my dishwasher. FAHW sent a technician out. Technician said it was holding water due to poor maintenance. He said he could fix for $200 and that FAHW would not cover this issue. I paid the $200 in addition to the $100 fee from FAHW. He then proceeded to not fix the problem. I called FAHW and complained, and they sent the same guy out again who raised my drain hose from the dishwasher stating that will fix the issue. It did not. Water continued to collect in the dishwasher. I called another company on my own who came out and determined it was a faulty water valve which was allowing water back into the dishwasher when not in use. He replaced the valve, left the faulty valve and charge me $175 for the repair. I contacted FAHW and requested a refund of the $200 their technician charged me and the $175 for the actual repair. I talked to three different agents and submitted the invoice from the final company who repaired the problem. Since FAHW is ignoring my complaint and return of my money. I am simply asking for the return of the money I spent to fix my dishwasher since their technician could not fix. I am not asking for the $100 fee FAHW charged me. I would like a response to my complaint and a refund for the money I am out.
The technician was quite professional and diagnosed the problem of my oven rather quickly. He ordered the parts to come to my home and once I returned home from a vacation, I called and made an appointment within a week. Everything is working wonderfully well again with my oven
First American Home Warranty has failed my home and family as a warranty company. I have had a claim open for weeks with no resolution. Every time we call it is another excuse and run around of being transferred to person after person. They do not care about their customers and only are concerned about renewing the contract. Very unprofessional and would not recommend using. Save your money because you’ll need to solve your problem yourself.

Very easy to use I use the computer to make the appointment and get the person who’s gonna be coming out I don’t usually use the computer part. I rather speak to a human but that’s what I was working with everything went smoothly. I got an email and a text letting me know who the people are that I’ll be coming out.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. 3 Files and they did not cover at all. It said it was “covered” but every single time there was a small detail or small letters to cover themselves so that they will not pay. Do not buy it, it is worthless save your money.

I have a PREMIUM home warranty with First American and my faucet is dripping and has been now for 8 days because last Friday when they sent someone who said my sink needed new faucets requiring "modifications" which caused is not to be covered and the repair person didn't do anything to fix the fast drip. I am loosing from 1-2 gallons of water an HOUR x 8 days now costing me potentially 100's on my water bill. I let FAHW know I wanted a 2nd opinion. They wouldn't, but offered me $50 cash out to make me go away. So I got a 40 yr MASTER LICENSED plumbing company to come do a 2nd opinion. They said the tech either wasn't a licensed plumber, was lazy or didn't know what he was doing because this was a repair solely and NOT a modification IF you know what you are doing and he wrote the estimate telling me that it could have been repaired and the leak stopped within 15-20 minutes with NO modifications needed & no new faucets needed. I notified FAHW of this yesterday, BY FORWARDING THE 2ND OPINION & advising the plumber, Ray Mays, said he would be happy to explain what needs to be done to FAHW and they argued with me but finally said they would send another company ... instead of just authorizing my 2nd opinion plumbing company to immediately stop the leak and repair the issue to stop my water bill from increasing by the hour. Now FAHW are saying they will probably NOT "assign" a new company to come today or tomorrow but will let me know the name for new plumbing company to "SCHEDULE" an appointment for them to come repair the issue even though this is labeled as an emergency causing me DAYS AND DAYS MORE LOSS OF WATER & INCREASED WATER BILL THEY REFUSE TO PAY FOR BECAUSE OF THEIR DELAY & INCOMPETENCE. A plumber told me HOME WARRANTIES send the technicians of all home warranty contractors to classes telling them how to write up their reports so they can DENY the claims that ARE IN FACT covered so the warranty company doesn't have to pay and so the contractor can TRY TO GOUGE us and charge for the REPAIR for exorbitant unnecessary work and fees. The incompetent tech company said it would be $1000. to repair the issue and that we needed new faucets which 2ND opinion company said is unnecessary & their charge would be $635. to repair not replace the faucet/s. I am almost 70 so I KNOW they are trying to take advantage of us by LYING & the 2nd opinion CONFIRMS they lied to me, wrote the repair ticket so that it was not covered because "modifications to plumbing" are not covered &, IN THIS INSTANCE, IT IS JUST A NORMAL REPLACEMENT OF A FAUCET IF NECESSARY BY A COMPETENT COMPANY NOT TRYING TO GOUGE YOU and they did try to gouge me because they wanted $1K for something 100% repairable & 100% COVERED BY THE HOME WARRANTY & COULD DO SO in a short amount of time without new faucets being needed BUT IF NEEDED ARE ALSO COVERED, WITH NO modifications necessary per my 2nd opinion which Home Warranty is refusing to acknowledge. They want their contractor to say if "modifications" are needed STILL and REFUSING to take the word of a highly competent, highly rated plumber. These companies practices of training the contractors to LIE & DECEIVE about the repairs is unethical and FRAUD. This has become a theme with them taking 22 days in 2022 to repair our AC in Texas & despite my vet telling them they were killing my dog (it took 9 mos to heal him from the skin infections he got because of the TEXAS 100 DEGREE HEAT) & after telling them I have 38% LUNG FUNCTION because they sent out a company who said I needed a total AC/Heating system replacement at a cost of over $3k to us. I argued for a 2nd opinion which they delayed for WEEKS and then finally sent out someone who found we simply needed a NEW COIL COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. They used to be a good company but now they are doing this as a RULE ON EVERY SINGLE COVERED ITEM UNDER THE WARRANTY & DELAYING REPAIRS FOR WEEKS I GUESS HOPING WE WILL GET A REPAIR THROUGH A COMPANY AND NOT WAIT FOR THEM SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO PA - THIS IS AGAIN, FRAUD. I was so pleased that the process was quick and the customer service helped me get a second approved vender since the first one was overbooked. The text messages helped to know the process.

Horrible Experience with First American Home Warranty - Terrible Service and Communication I’ve been dealing with First American Home Warranty for over a month and a half, and I am extremely frustrated with the service. I have two broken ceiling fans—one won’t turn off and the other won’t turn on. Initially, an electrician came out, agreed that the fans needed replacing, but then claimed they were broken before I purchased the home, so my claim was denied. After a lengthy call and insisting on reopening the claim, they sent another electrician who also confirmed both fans needed replacing. The worst part is the ongoing communication nightmare. The electrician sent out to replace the fans is unable to provide a cost for the replacements, so First American can’t approve the replacement. I even took the initiative to set up a three-way call with First American and the electrician to try to get this resolved, but First American pretended they couldn’t hear us and hung up the phone call. It’s been over a month and a half, and neither of my ceiling fans has been replaced. They now show only one fan on the work order and we’re no further along than we were at day one. The lack of customer service and accountability is appalling. I will not be renewing my contract with them and would highly advise against using their service.

I’m reaching out to express my frustration with the lack of a way to contact a live agent. The AI voice system consistently repeats the same two or three questions, and when I try to speak with a representative, the recording simply states that there’s a higher-than-usual call volume. This cycle continues endlessly, sometimes for over an hour, without any resolution. As a customer, it’s incredibly disheartening to feel stuck in a system that doesn’t provide real support. I hope this feedback can help improve the customer experience moving forward.
This time I'm truly not happy with First American Home Warrenty. I've had them for MANY years and never been this dissatisfied. In August I reached out to them because my ice maker wasn't producing ice. They scheduled an appt with ER APPLIANCE REPAIR LLC. They came out August 29, 2024. Advised the ice maker needed a part. Sept 3, 2024 tech returned and said it would be 24 hours before we would have ice. NO ICE. Sept 5, they said they needed to order another part. Said part would be in three to four days. No part. Called first american back to advise no part. Tech didn't come until 10-10. Still NO ICE. this continued until DEC. I was highly upset with first american because normal after the third time they would get another company. They didn't get another company until DEC 2, 2024. New company came and reset the machine and within HOURS we had ice. Truly disappointed in FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY and ER APPLIANCE REPAIR and PRIORTY MECHINICAL SERVICES. AA NOOR ENTERPRISES came I'm and saved the day.
