I ordered some fire extinguishers from them. Part of the order arrived. I did not see any information about the rest of the order. I contacted the firm and was informed that the remaining items were on a back order and they had no forecast for delivery and it was displayed when I ordered. I informed them it was not apparent when I ordered and to be fair a proper web site would either not display the product or have a pop up warning. I was offered a refund but only after 14 days which is very strange as they took my money in a few minutes. Generally this sort of behaviour is bordering on dishonesty and is unethical. I purchased the missing items from another firm who also provided a discount. All this information is evidenced on emails from the firm. Would I use this firm again, after this behaviour I would not think so. ######################################### Update to the response by Fire Protection 270923 ######################################### When I asked about the web site being modified if the product is not available you said it could not be changed. I used to do some web site management and it is straightforward and easy to change. You also stated it takes along time to get the product yet you carry on advertising when you do not have them in stock. WIth regard to the refund you state like most firms 10-14 days is an adequate time. This suggest you have surveyed these firms regarding refunds, which I very much doubt and you would not know. I cannot comment on the refund from a firm as its a long time since i had a refund. However currently I can do a transfer of funds immediately in the system to a bank or a company. So from that evidence regarding the continual advertising on a website that cannot be modified of out of stock items in the past and going forward yet taking the custoners money. A refund procedure which is set to suit yourselves and not the customer it would appear there is an honesty and ethics issue here. All the comments above are evidenced in emails.
