Phil and his lads were top drawer and they did a great job. They really helped us figure out what was the right fire was for us and explained everything and quoted a fair price too. good service, knowledgeable and proficient

I was recommended Elegant Fires by a friend of mine when I was considering a wood burner for my lounge. I contacted Phil by mobile and he arranged to come over within a couple of days to assess the suitability and give advice. He gave me advice on what was needed to fit the stove and gave me three recommendations I chose the largest and he and his team fitted it within a day. It has transformed the room and the house, we have had no issues what so ever and the after service has been superb. Reasonable price, great friendly team and a magnificent end result.

Phil and his team are extremely experienced, polite and created a wonderful fireplace for us with wood burning stove. The clearing of our chimney was much more complicated and time consuming than was envisaged but the team worked really hard and made it safe for no increase in the quote. We were very happy with the service and quality of the finished fire.

Great service from start to finish

Phil came to fit our wood/ coal burner and hearth. He’s done a really lovely neat job and we’ve had many admiring comments by friends . On time every morning , stayed on the job till finished and everything back in its place and clean afterwards. I have no reservations and would highly recommend Phil .

Good advice received from Phil and the price paid was much lower than I expected. The fitting was done well and apart from the empty biscuit tin they left no trace of the extensive building work done.

I really valued the highly personalised service. Phil and his team carefully considered what I wanted, listened closely and came up with solutions which were exactly right for me. They installed the stove, overcoming obstacles and the stove looks fantastic. The price provided exceptionally good value for money and I was not charged for the extra work that was involved in overcoming the obstacles. Phil and his team arrived punctually, completed the work to time and cleared up meticulously.

Fantastic service from Phil and the team who fitted a Gazco Gas fired Wood Burner, a Riven Slate Hearth. At the same time they also checked our chimney liner was safe and compliant and made some necessary adjustments to ensure its compliance. We could not recommend them highly enough - our fire is beautiful and everyone that visits comments on how great it looks and are surprised at how efficient it is in heating our rooms. Would be happy for any of Phil's potential clients to visit us with Phil to have a look for themselves.

This is the second time that we have used Phil to install a fireplace, the first time was over 20 years ago. They did an excellent job and the new fireplace and log burner looks brilliant although due to the very hot weather we haven't had chance to light it yet. The price quoted was very competitive and Phil even took time out to show us various fires and surrounds at his supplier's premises. Well done to Phil and his team.
