I was looking for a premium CCTV kit which would be trouble free and would provide excellent image quality. I was certain that stuff from eBay or Amazon just won`t do the trick here so I did a quick research and found this company which seemingly has got a good reputation. Their prices were really high to my standards (I did choose the TOP range they offered) and compared to eBay or Amazon so that just gave me assurance that this must be real good stuff. BUT it turns out that the price does not always reflect the quality of the product. I received my 4 camera cctv kit and the list of issues has started: 1. First I noticed that the warranty sticker at the back was ripped so warranty was void. (after a few emails they`ve sent me a new sticker, so that was sorted) 2. Notifications on the DVR did not work even after a number of support emails 3. When trialling indoors - camera was failing to switch back to colour view when I switched the light off and on again 3. DVR was loud as anything - much louder than my other DVR from Amazon 4. Viewing LIVE on the mobile app turned out to show footage that was behind real time, and the longer you`d be on the app the more it would fall behind, just after 10 mins on the app it was showing footage that was 3 minutes old.. THIS was the deal-breaker and I was not willing to go outside my 14 day return window in case this does not get sorted and I get stuck with this crap(excuse my language but having paid £270+vat for a DVR - it is simply unacceptable) 5. Returns process was disappointing too, since they will ONLY accept as NEW items and any that are NOT will incur a charge (which wasn`t a small amount either) - well I`m sorry but how am I supposed to trial the item without taking it out of the original packaging? (so the camera had protective stickers which had to be taken off in order to see any footage...) So I had to keep 2 cameras and obviously the accessories that came with them as it did not make sense to send them back at a loss. So in the end I wasted a few days of my time attempting to tinker with the system as advised by the support and incurred a slight financial loss having had to return items for a partial refund. Not the experience one would hope when paying over £780 for 4 camera kit, right? All in all DDS did attempt to resolve some of the minor issues but failed to live up to their rices so in general it`s my one of the worst online shopping experiences, rather stick with someone you know, would NOT recommend DDS EDIT: After reading response to my review which was kind of similar to when I was in contact for support made it obvious again they have a strong opinion about their product and are failing to admit to facts. Made me laugh reading answer to number 4 - for some reason my current 4mb cameras have no issues with showing live data and has NO lag what so ever - keep looking for silly things to blame - but unfortunately to DDS - this was not my first CCTV set so I was able to compare it. AVOID.

LOOKED ON WEB SITE, CHECKED OUT COMPETITION, WE HAVE INSTALLED SEVERAL SYSTEMS, MOST ARE OK. DDS, REALLY HELP FULL, SET UP REALLY EASY PLENTY OF HELP, SOME SUPPLIERS JUST CAN'T BE BOTHERED AFTRR THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. WILL BE BACK

DDS are the best at security from helping you pick the system you need , getting the order right every time , and can answer any question regarding your cctv system or alarm their after care is 10/10 , I’ve used DDS for a few years now I wouldn’t look any where else, Every system I’ve fitted for others they are always over the moon and that’s down to the quality of the product thanks to DDS...

If you want the best products DDS is the only place to go. In the 4 years I have been established I have not used any other supplier. The staff are amazing and tech support always only a phone call away. We decided to go with DDS as upon first contact they were really helpful without forcing to sell. We gave them some photos of where we wanted to secure and they helped choose the right solution. Being new to this it was easy to set up, on the UNV unit, on Mac and on iPhone. However, we had a few questions. DDS support were prompt, very helpful and checked we were working and happy. We will return for any other things we need.

I came to your offices and bought an updated NVR and IP PTZ camera and a PoE switch to power the camera but was informed when we started commissioning it that the camera needed a local supply. We also discovered that we needed a seperate mounting bracket for the PTZ which wasn't mentioned at the point of order.
