have always had good service from this company. Yes they have had issues but dont everyone you normally only hear of bad experiences not the 100's of good even though the are 375 miles away from my home.

The sales team are Davan motorhomes are excellent apart from not telling me that the installed satnav needed maps purchasing separately. I bought a brand new Pilote motorhome at the end of June 2022. I found several faults with it which should have been found prior to my purchase. for example, the bed frame stuck and not being able to be pulled out, the magnetic strip broken and pulling off the door, the battery repeatedly going flat. When I spoke to 'after-sales' they asked me to deal with the sales dept 'as it would be better coming from you' I explained that it was the job of the aftersales dept. I brought my motorhome in for repairs twice over the following months and received either a rude and /or frosty reception. Twice when I took my van back leaks had appeared in the sinks which were not there before. The first time the kitchen sink pipes were completely pulled apart. Dirty water went everywhere. After getting no reply to me calls messages and emails I fixed it myself. The pipe had to be unscrewed for the sink drain put back together and re-screwed back to the drain. Davan said pipes can work their way loose but the fact that it had to be unscrewed to put it back together negates that. There were no leaks prior to my fixing it or after. They offered me some compensation but then none was forthcoming. I took that the van in for further work a few months later and then found that the bathroom sink had a leak - again it wasn't there before. Co-incidence? I don't think so. I have tried to address these issues with different people, they promise call back and don't, promise to get a Manager to call me - they don't. I had an email from Mark Davies, I replied - no response. I would have happily had someone at Davan deal with the issues instead of writing a negative review but no one seems interested in talking to me. My motorhome is booked in again to have the bathroom leak fixed. This time I will stay with it to watch what they do.......... The incredibly poor customer service I have received has spoilt my experience of buying a motorhome.

I had 2 faults with my motorhome which needed to be repaired under warranty.As I had bought my motorhome at Alan Kerr I took it there and they said they would do the paperwork for the warranty. 10 months later I was still waiting, having been told one part had been sent but was faulty, so they were waiting for another. Alan Kerr told me no one else would do the warranty work as I had bought it from them. Another lie as I rang Davan, spoke to Paris who said they could do the paperwork and get the job done. I spoke to Rollerteam to find out Alan Kerr had never even requested to do the warranty work and had lied to me for 10 months. Paris kept me informed of the progress of the warranty work and once the parts were delivered to them arranged to get the work done. The work was done efficiently, and overall I am very happy with the service from Davan. Needless to say I will not be using Alan Kerr again but will have all work on my motorhome done by Davan

I'm looking to upgrade my van and looked around the stock ,while there I must have dropped my wallet unknown to me ,later that day I realised it had gone and gave up hope of getting it back ,I was totally shocked when davan motorhomes had found it and posted it to me ,restores my faith in people so 5 star service

Paris and Jade in the service department are truly amazing both with great Spence of humours. I had a phone call from Paris to confirm a couple of parts had arrived from Swift where Paris had contacted Swift direct. Picked up the parts and had a lovely conversation and catch up with Paris and Jade. Their customer service skills are exemplary and you won’t get better customer skills anywhere. We wouldn’t go anywhere else and Davan need to keep hold of both Paris and Jade because their amazing. We come all the way from Keynsham because of their great service and personalities. Thank you both. Don’t ever change.

Beyond great customer experience. I bought a new caravan from the dealer near our old home. We are now in Weston-super-Mare so I asked Davan if they would do some warranty work. Paris (in servicing) said "Yes of course". Not only that, she found me a very quick appointment as the work is fairly minor and she then offered me a service plan without any pressure at all to buy it. She was so helpful, so approachable, so open to questions. She could not have done more. When I dropped off the caravan, all the paperwork for what we agreed was there ready and waiting. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Paris is a really good advocate for Davan Caravans and I am so relieved I approached them. Incidentally there were plenty of smiles from all the staff I met when I dropped off the caravan. Superb welcome to Davan.

Poor aftersales service all round and wouldn't recommend at all. After spending +£54k on a brand new motorhome (sales were actually super helpful) I lost patience with all the issues and sold it. I even had to issue a rejection notice to get them to complete the outstanding works. They managed to damage it in the workshop and while they did eventually get it repaired - the work was so bad I had to pay to get this resolved elsewhere. +250 days to organise warranty work for faults from handover and almost every communication I had with them was painful. I've lost track of the number of 70 mile round trips I've had to make to sort out service issues not to mention broken promises to return calls or get things sorted. Even when I ordered replacement parts I had to drive all the way there only for them to say they made a mistake and didn't have it. While they blame high staff turnover/new staff for most issues Davan really need to sort out their service levels as there is no excuse for rude behavior. While customers aren't benefiting from Davans aftersales, their competitors surely will be! In short - if they have the 'new' (so under warranty) van you want buy it but drive it somewhere else for aftersales!

Davan carried out some warranty work and the first annual habitation service for my Roller Team T-Line 590 June 17th. I collected it at the end of a hot and very busy week. Notwithstanding, the overall customer service given by Paris and Jade was happy, 'can do', highly competent and unflustered. The engineering team led by Ian was one of the most effective and professional I have experienced for a long time. Ian in particular spent time explaining in layman's terms what work was done, how the complex systems operated and what to watch out for. He was clearly deeply experienced and a master of his trade. Comprehensively outstanding - this was an excellent example of getting what you pay for. Thank you!

Be aware. It charged me a flat rate delivery fee of £6.95 for a £3 small piece piece of plastic after I’ve placed the order. I didn’t know hidden fees were such a thing anymore. It would have been nice to be informed at checkout.

Just bought a Roller Team T-Line motorhome from DAVAN. Could not fault their initial sales, collection and after sales service. Motorhome was missing a ladder for the drop down bed which they instantly offered to provide and ordered one from Roller Team Italy. After sales team have been superb! Thanks

Very mixed service here. We bought a motorhome from them and it couldn't have been a better experience - Lonsdale the salesman was friendly, efficient and genuine. The aftersales service couldn't have been more of a contrast. We had to constantly call for updates as promised callbacks did not happen. On the phone the aftersales team were patronising at best, and downright rude at worst. Jamie, the workshop manager, was the exception - he's a decent guy. Overall, approach with caution.

I recently bought a MiRider One ebike from them. I enjoyed going to collect it where I found the people very pleasant. I enjoyed browsing in the shop. Clearly they are not a bike shop so I wasn't expecting any expertise but when I had a couple of after sale issues they quickly found the answers by liaising with MiRider and called me.

Called in on holiday in newly acquired motorhome with faulty toilet cassette and over running water pump. Had the cassette in stock and technician fixed the pump pressure valve whilst we waited at no cost. Brilliant service and shop - highly recommended. Thank you.

I have ordered a bumper to rollerteam motorhome and asked many times via email with final cost of replacement. Got confirmation that is the final price. Needed to pass the cost to the client. It arrived 6 weeks after ordering and even though i had confirmation on the email Davan wanted to charge for fitting . Abosultely very bad service and rude staff and will not use them at all.

Excellent customer care! We were experiencing problems with our 2016 Auto Sleeper whilst on holiday in Cornwall. A drain hose had become detached from below the basin on the bathroom. Grey water was leaking into places it really shouldn’t! We phoned Davan who said the earliest they could guarantee to look at it was 10th Oct but to bring it in and they would store it until they got a cancellation! I did that and went home to wait. A few hours later they phoned to say that they had done it and also fixed a leaking fresh water drain tap. On collection I was expecting a hefty bill but was charged £35 for half an hours work. - Outstanding! Very highly recommended- They clearly believe in fair price charging!

We wanted to buy an air awning. After visiting showroom where the sales staff were extremely well informed about different types of awning and their good/bad points, we were asked what we were going to use the awning on, how many people would ideally be using the space, what time of year and how long at a time we would be using it? On advice we opted for the Dometic club air s an all seasons version. We were asked to say what in an ideal world we would like in the awning package as far as extras etc. And the rough price we could afford then the sales lady built a package suited to our needs, and worked out a total price calculating a discount. Collection of order was seam free. On using the awning for the first time we watched the YouTube videos on how to erect our model a couple of times on advice from other owners and sales lady, the erection was relatively problem free and very very quick, the awning was extremely stable and mostly draught free, curtains were difficult to thread on ( so we’ve left them connected when packing awning away), zips were easy to connect and use, airing sections also have good strong zips, we opted for the electric inflation pump and it was so easy ( you set required psi) even cutting out when required psi had been reached. Only drawback is on unpacking awning we discovered it didn’t include the expected draught skirt ( Dometic as a company have opted to not supply automatically as their awnings are suitable for both caravan and motor homes and motor homes do not have the rail for feeding skirt into therefore they would be wasted. ) but Davan sorted out a piece to fit the length of our caravan to include the extension we had also bought. Overall one EXTREMELY happy customer

Checked in for a pre- booked habitation check . Staff member checked the van and found no problems. We later experienced battery problems which the staff member stated was "a coincidence" and nothing to do with their inspection procedure. We cannot argue this and later telephoned and emailed Davan asking for assistance. Sadly they chose to ignore our requests. Is this an example of customer care? Not impressed. We now have to get a further check at an additional cost. Thanks for Davans caring attutude.

With reply to your response. I sold my vehicle through autotrader and found no problem with their system. When I sent a text message from their site I got a message to say it had been sent. As I said to you via email, my mobile is my business number so I'm always available so to say YOUR salesman rang several times is a lie. Also you say he left me a message to ring him back. He's a liar, as I said to you, I do not have a messaging service on my line. If a customer contacted me to spend 50 K on a extension, I would have made a real effort to contact them. I look forward to the time when the feast turns to famine. Good Luck.
