I can’t recommend this company enough. I phoned them on Tuesday morning to order an awning and awning carpet. I spoke to Jo on awning sales, her level of customer service was off the scale brilliant. I asked how long delivery for the items ordered would take. She honestly said, due to size of goods etc it could possibly take a few days. I was kept updated constantly re delivery. I certainly didn’t expect the text message on Wednesday morning to say that my delivery would be with me before midday. I will certainly be dealing with Davan again for all my caravan needs. Jo you’re a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to deal with. My only issue is you got my email address wrong. The Jayne part should be the old plain Jane and no nonsense. Thanks so much.
I recently purchased a motorhome from Davan and the customer service from viewing to handover was exemplary. There are three people in particular that I would like to mention in this review. Firstly, Oliver who was very personable, helpful and friendly and made the whole process very smooth. He was also available at all times regardless of whether he was on a day off or not! Lisa was very friendly and just great with us during the handover and all of the paperwork that involved! It was also nice to do all of this in a private room rather than out in the main area. Stuart helped us in the shop with all that we needed, he gave great advice and was also very friendly. If you're looking to buy a motorhome or caravan and all that goes with it, I highly recommend Davan and the team that work there.
Staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. We had just bought an elderly caravan privately and it had obvious minor faults. We were helped to make the gas safe and advised on many things. Not always the most expensive. Totally confident that this family business will see you right. We will always try Davan first.
Can we just thank the superb staff particularly the lady on reception when we randomly called in recently due to a emergency with a problem with the water pump in our motorhome. We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome when a engineer sourced the problem and instantly resolved it. Great teamwork and once again thanks you both went that extra mile
We got a great deal on a Joa 63T campervan. We are very happy with the service we have had from the whole team at Davan, particularly Oliver and Lonsdale. We would not hesitate to purchase from Davan again in the future.
I had a crack appear in my viewing window on my 2021 Swift Caravan. I spoke to Paris (Service Manager) who said this should be replaced under warranty. The next day Paris called and confirmed it would be replaced under warranty and as soon as the parts are received Davan would let me know. A couple of weeks later Kerry called from the service department and confirmed the parts were in and booked the caravan in on a date that suited me. I took the van down and Emily checked the van in and agreed to also replace the hinges on the bathroom door that I pointed out had become slightly tarnished. I picked the van uk a couple of days later and everything was replaced as they said. Thank you to Paris, Kerry and Emily for all looking after me so well and whoever replaced the window. Brilliant service as usual and I am so glad Davan look after me and my caravan. 👍🏻

A big shout out to Ian, who carried out some recent warranty work on our new motorhome efficiently, with a full explanation of the issue, his findings and his resolution. His handover at the end of the day turned out to be more thorough than the original handover when picking up our new vehicle for the first time. However, four of these warranty items existed when we picked the motorhome up on that first day and should have been clearly obvious on the final vehicle check and inspection and on handover, we didn’t notice until we started to explore the motorhome when we arrived home. Two other faults were not as obvious. So although this is praise for the after sales team, it does not reflect as well on the sales team (or whoever is responsible for preparing vehicles for handover). The remedial work visit was one that should not have been required and has caused us cost and inconvenience.
Brand new Pilote 696 evidence after 5weeks needs new front blind, new habitation door, alarm not working properly, cooker knob fell off, loads of other things wrong , basically rubbish. I want my money back.

DO NOT BUY YOUR CARAVAN/MOTORHOME FROM HERE!!! I bought my Motorhome from Davan in 2020 & whilst, of course, their sales department were very good, the after sales service is shockingly bad. I have had issues with every interaction I have had with them since, causing me to have to take my MH back in more time than I would choose, and normally because they have failed to deliver. I wrote to the Sales & Service Director, neither could be bothered to respond. Just shows once they've taken your money, they do not care!!!!!
I recently booked my old motorhome into Davan to have a few jobs done. The cost of the two main jobs escalated quite considerably. I'm not complaining about this, as the unforseen costs were legitmate and understandable, but being a bit of a tightwad, I didn't feel that I could afford the other work done. I was about to leave but, as an afterthought, decided to go into their parts shop to ask if they could identify which water pump I might need so that I could have a go at fitting it myself. They advised me to go to the service counter to see if they had a technician who was free to talk to me. within a couple of minutes I was talking to Ian ( I hope I've remembered your name! ) a very friendly and efficient man. He took me to my van, devined that the pump was the problem, took me to shop and found the replacement that I needed as well as the fittings required. He talked me through the process of fitting the new pump , step by step, so that I felt quite confident that I could do the job myself. What a star! Well done Davan for finding and keeping this man. I left feeling a lot better about having spent a chunk of money.
The levels of customer service are the best we have received from any UK Motorhome supplier not only from the excellent sales staff but everyone right down to the accessories dept ,admin and after sales dept .Nothing seems to be too much trouble from the whole team.That’s why we chose to deal with Davan above all other dealers we have visited (and we have contacted many to achieve the choice of the right vehicle ) Many thanks Davan until our next visit Bernie and Ivoni Andrews
Purchased air awning but was faulty upon first use. Emailed the company and was told to tighten the valves which I had already checked but did so again. Made Davan aware that this had not rectified the issue and they said they would forward our email to the manufacturers (Quest) for any other suggestions or new tubes. After a number of emails asking me to ascertain which tube was faulty and establishing that it was to do with the horizontal section only (and despite having advised them that I thought there was actually a fault with the valves, as one just seemed to be turning and not tightening on this horizontal section) I was finally sent one new tube (even though there are two). As it didn't appear to be a tube issue, we finally lost the will to live with the product and asked for a full refund which Davan duly paid, however it was disappointing that I had to pay the £25 postage to return the faulty awning to them without any offer of recompense of the postage. So even though their email communication levels are very good (Sam dealt with this issue) and they did indeed make a refund, it was quite a stressful process getting the refund and I am still out of pocket by £25 for something that wasn't my fault - their response to my google review says they initially offered me a refund or replacement part but that us untrue - I WAS NOT initially offered a refund!. They also go on to state that another part was ordered after the first one didn't work but we didn't even get that far as we had lost faith in them by then so once again that is untrue. Google reviews does not allow me to write a further response making people aware that this company lie in the response making them look reasonable to anyone reading their reply which is misleading SO JUST PLEASE BEWARE OF USING THIS COMPANY.
Absolutely superb after-sales and workshop. Nothing is too much trouble for the super-friendly service desk duo, Kerry & Maxine. Jerry and Ashley in the workshop are two of the most professional and skilled technicians you could find. Ashley, in particular, looked after my motorhome as if it was his with immaculate attention to detail. Overall, exemplary service. Thank you.
Thank you Ian for your kindness and patience when we most needed some help when our power steering developed a problem …. and to Davan for supplying courtesy transport to get us home. Davan are a very friendly professional company who seem to employ staff who go beyond what is expected on a daily basis. Since purchasing our Pilote motorhome and our dealings with various staff members we have always been treated with respect and friendliness. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Excellent customer service. Although Richard sold us the camper, we dealt with Lonsdale. He kept us fully informed throughout the process and was informative and helpful with decision making. A pleasure to deal with. As was Lisa who sorted all our finances and paperwork. Everything was clearly explained and well organised. Even when we had a slight issue with the van, it was dealt with effectively and immediately without fuss. I'd highly recommend this company.

Don't expect the service department to be particularly interested in getting your van fixed under warranty. The fact that the rear wall might be detaching from the van and potentially dangerous to put bikes on the bike rack doesn't seem to provide any motivation for them. Even the broken rear camera or door-stay that fell off, simple fixes for a professional workshop (you would think) are still unresolved after 7 months. Maybe Ill try sending another email to be subsequently ignored again. Very frustrating level of service this - I don't currently recommend this outfit at all.
I have been using Davan Caravans for a few years, to get my caravan serviced, they always accommodate me to my convenience and their staff are both polite and professional. Paris has been on hand to ensure that I am satisfied with everything, thanx to all their staff.
