I had a couple of issues with some salon furniture that I had ordered for the opening of my new salon. Joanne went above & beyond to help me on more than one occasion, always remaining very friendly & professional & kept me informed at all times. My salon opened on time with thanks to Joanne.

Beautiful people at Capital hair and beauty in Ashford, they make you feel welcome and have patience with me as my English is not my first language and sometimes it takes little more time to understand. I recently accompanied my daughter along to the Ashford store as she has recently become qualified in the hair and beauty trade. Upon entry, we received a warm welcome from the staff and my daughter explained what she needed and the staff were brilliant in helping her with her needs and offering advice on certain products. Personal service like that goes a long way.
My recent visit to the Ashford store left me very impressed, The store looks very well presented snd the staff are friendly snd knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this store to business owners and colleagues for quality products and excellent advice and service!
I’m absolutely disgusted with the treatment disabled customers receive upon shopping at Capital Ashford. I came in today with my disabled 17 year old daughter and parked in the designated disabled bay in front of the store and before even getting out of my car I noticed several members of staff staring at us from the window in a disapproving manner, one staff member came out to move some trollies and was staring also which made us feel intimidated before we even stepped foot inside. Upon entering the shop I was immediately verbally abused by a member of staff whom later turned out to be the manager. She shouted at me from behind the counter in front of the whole store “you do know that’s a disabled bay!” which embarrassed and humiliated my daughter who already suffers with social anxiety as well as other non visible disabilities. I told the staff that we did in fact have a disabled badge which was displayed in the car, she ended the conversation but pulling a face at us and turning away. How people are expected to shop here when the staff are rude, arrogant and discriminatory is beyond me. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience here and I think the staff would benefit from some further training.
Used their scissor sharpening service. I used free post service they suggested with Scissor Pro which didn’t make clear that it wasn’t special delivery. As a result, I have no lost my £400 scissors due to this. No offer of refund or compliance from store
Made 2 ordered separately literally 1 min apart from each other. have recieved order number 10352576, that is not the issue. I made another order for order 10352578 at the same day 2 mins after and this is the order I have not got. I have had no email to say it’s being delivered by anyone, I’ve received a tracking number from you which when I enter on DPD comes up as ‘the details entered are incorrect’. It would seem that you have sent ‘proof of delivery’ pictures for the parcel I HAVE received but have not told me where my GHD Max Straighteners are. I ordered this to retail to a client of mine, who I promised would have them by now. I have now had to explain that I haven’t got them which has caused quite an uproar as she has paid me a deposit! I have attached the pictures below - one of which is the message I get when I put the tracking details on my confirmation email from you which shows there is no tracking for it. The other is a picture of the email I got for you with the dpd consignment number of the parcel I am missing.

Today I met the rudest person in the shop in Cork. She was so grumpy and rude so horrible. How dare she treat anyone with such a manner. I asked her a question and after the way she answered I left the stock I had and went over to salon service. They were so nice over there and I got what I wanted. Unfortunately I will have to return to capital as I get some stock there but I will avoid that rude person. I wouldn’t recommend the place Just go to salon service and you will be treated well.
Ordered items were missing Rude excuses then telling me I didn't pay for my goods That's a lie cos went through PayPal Not happy Promised they'll get back to me ( not ) They did not care at all
Rubbish made an order a week ago never received any emails about it being dispatched or any form of tracking, have left 2 emails and 3 messages and had absolutely no response, now have no order and no money back communication is awful
I ordered a texture release kit from this store and all the bottles were sealed with tape because they had been opened previously. Moreover the process of texture releases did not work well despite being familiar with the process. As if the products had been tampered. Not happy at all In response to their feedback: In regards to the tape, that is not valid. The products should be sealed professionally by the manufacturer with a thin piece of aluminium that the user will remove for first usage.

Always a warm welcome when visiting the store at Norwich. Though I admit I've been buying online more than visiting lately, as its more convenient for my circumstances. Can't fault stock availability, quick delivery, never any issues to report.
Have ordered through Capital a few times for various hair products and have never had an issue! I've done a few for delivery which have always arrived in time and undamaged, as well as collecting some from my local site in Slough. Normally best priced on the items I'm buying and very good service.
I hadn’t ordered from Capital for years as I got sick of things not being in stock but recently I needed to order something that was harder to get hold of so thought I would try them again. I wish I hadn’t. Some items I purchased in with my order were three Deo small wax strips and two large Deo wax strips. When I received the order I had replacement Capital own brand ones. It never said they were out of stock when I ordered and I never received an e mail afterwards to say they were out of stock and an alternative product was available, just sent the Capital ones! So I rang the next day , where upon I was told I needed to send photo evidence of the wax strips so I did and explained that under the consumer rights law I am entitled to a full refund or an exchange. I then received an e mail a few days later to say I was entitled to a refund but I would have to cover the cost of sending them back and then obviously if I wanted alternative wax strips to order and pay for new delivery. This was not my mistake and I knew that I want responsible for the payment of returning the items so I rang Citizens Advice who confirmed it was their error and not the products that I ordered so I emailed Capital once again to confirm this. I spoke to customer services and said I wanted to make an official complaint. She then told me that the e mail saying I had to cover the cost of posting was sent in error and used as a template e mail. She then told me I would have to send the items back at my own cost to then get a refund on posting and items. I think this is disgusting for a big company to not have a returns label or courier pick up so I told her I wasn’t happy with this as the onus is on me to have to go the post office to send them back also pay up front for the postage to then wait to get a refund, all though no fault of my own. Also I had had to order more wax strips from somewhere else in the interim period- so more cost to myself. She then said she could see what she could do. She then rang back and obviously thought she had the golden nugget with this- she told me she had spoken to the warehouse manager and that the capital packaged wax strips that I hadn’t ordered were in fact made by Deo! I told her I didn’t care as they are sold as Capitals own brand and they are not the item number or description that I ordered. She was rude and unhelpful and just kept saying over and over again but they are Deo wax strips to anything I said. She was missing the point as they are packaged differently and sold as Capitals , with a different item number and description so by law not what I ordered. I’m sure cheaper toilet roll is made in the same factory as Andrew but doesn’t mean it’s the same. I have worked as a beauty therapist for twenty five years and never come across such a low level of customer service all due to them sending out the wrong items - not my mistake! I have used Ellison’s , House of Famuir and Salon serve in this time and never had one problem, even recently had an experience with Navy customer service and they could not have been more helpful. Capital needs to take ownership of mistakes they have made and try to correct them, also I bend over backwards in my job to keep people happy and coming back, that’s what the trade is based on yet ironically the place you buy your stock from couldn’t care less. Never use this company they are awful and have awful customer service advisors.
Probably wouldn't give them any stars. completed wax training in Southampton store with order reference 9405733 in 2014. Post completing my course Capital customer service advised in email that my certificate will be issued in 28 days (have email proof). One of the things, my priorities changed falling pregnant and never followed through. Recently getting back onto beauty industry I chased Capital for my "never received" certificate, after going around houses I get customer service telling me their records don't go that far "some gdpr excuse" but its a certificate that they never issued so they can issue me one with having order number present! shocking customer service and attitude, never will train here or recommend!
