Great service! The team made it so clear and easy to order the plates and process the transfer. Everything was sorted within a week. We did have a problem with the plates but the team sorted it straight away, no issues. I'd definitely recommend!

I sold my number plate - 791PK - via British Car Registrations. It was years ago now, but the customer service was so awful, it's remained indelibly in my memory ever since and I feel compelled to warn others what an unpleasant company this is to deal with. I found the receipt from the transaction the other day and it brought back terrible memories! This is not a customer-focused company, more just one which puts money-grabbing first. The individual I dealt with was particularly aggressive in nature and I've yet to deal with a worse company or encounter worse customer service. Not recommended at all! If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I ordered plates for my Daughter for Christmas. BCR were recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. Great communication and service throughout the process. Registration details sorted just before Christmas as requested. Thanks Ruth for all your help - Highly Recommend.

I purchased a number plate as a suprise gift for my husband. The plate was very reasonably priced and the whole experience has been swift and felt very personal. I used British Car Registrations as we had bought plates from them before but quite a few years ago and I remembered how great the service was back then. I would highly recommend this company and will always ue them if purchase a plate again.

Purchased X28ANS on the 13/6/2020 paid in full BCR sent me a receipt for payment. Here we are nearly 2 months later I have not received the registration I paid for in full and after a number of emails with no reply and phone calls which tells you to email I have heard nothing, luckily I paid for it on my credit card so I'm in the process of getting my money back.

I have bought a number plate from them just received email on day of purchase not heard from them and trying to call them they don't answer or even reply back to emails. The plate is still for sale on wrbsite even though it has been bought by me. The plate is x200yax. Very bad service

On 2/3/2020, after speaking to British Car Registrations twice over the phone, I bought a plate for over £1100. I had checked them out beforehand.They took my money, issued a receipt then advised they didn't actually have the number plate to sell in the first place but could 'offer' me others that I didn't want. The refund promised 'by the end of the week' didn't materialise. Despite me called the company in later weeks, the money still wasn't repaid. In the end, my bank did a snatch back as the goods and services were not provided. It is horrifying to think that if I had paid by another means such as direct bank transfer, I would have lost the money totally. Updated info 17/7/20: British Car Registrations have tried to remove my review from Trustpilot siting I gave 'defamatory statements.' You will note that British Car Registrations say on Trust Pilot that they welcome good or bad reviews. This action makes a mockery of allowing customers to learn from my terrible experience. My bank did a snatch back so I managed to retrieve the money I paid them for a number plate that wasn't actually for sale. THey DID NOT refund my money 'by the end of the week' as was promised. Please learn by my experience potential customers and save yourself some stress.

Paid almost two hundred pound for sale of personal number plate - this company couldn't do enough to get my money but after money was received they done little to answer questions regarding mis-selling of their service, have written to director and followed their 'complaints' procedure as per their web page regarding complaints (which has since disappeared? ! - but I have a screenshot of it whereby they say they respond to every complaint). Yet they have not responded to any of the three letters I have sent. This company mis-sold me a service of selling my number plate through their advertisement. One of their employees was disgraceful in their customer service (which I recorded the telephone call proving how the woman spoke all over me, gave me no time to speak about my complaint and refused to give me details of who to write in to). I will be going to trading standards as this company say they only take one fee which covers everything but then they add 10% onto the sale price online (which I was told was their commission - after I had paid the fee - before having paid I was not told they add this percentage on). It was all smoke screen and terrible service and as yet no-one has responded to my letters of concern.

Found BCR to excellent in dealing with all aspects. Would most definitely use them again in purchasing or selling a plate
