A financial website which won't bore you to tears, rip you off or talk in jargon. But will help you make smart decisions, show you what others are doing and put your questions to an expert.
I chose Holly's site for a reasonable and regular digest of UK and World financial overviews. I like her style of financial journalism. It suits me as an infrequent investor who has simply gained financial knowledge freely from the internet out of necessity to prevent erosion of life savings. I can tolerate the regular links to investment products; Holly has got to make a living too. They're balanced fairly with articles that I've learned a little from or confirmed my understanding.
I've been following the investment advice for many months excellent ETF advice. Its a shame she can't talk about individual shares like Arm, Nvidia, Raspberry Pi, etc
Wonderful website and updates. Holly has a wonderful brain and talent for explaining finance to the masses. I would really recommend the website to all those wanting to learn more about increasing their wealth, understanding investments and gaining impartial advice.
I signed up for some kind of market research panel to earn a bit of cash. Weirdly they never invited me to do a single piece of market research but they did start sending me spam emails about making investments which I never signed up for.
I read the weekly blog which is always informative and as a bonus it's quite often entertaining as well. Recently I asked Holly a question regarding NI voluntary contributions and contracting out because it seemed even the Pension Service did not know the answer. Holly went above and beyond to find an answer and eventually got as definitive an answer as possible from an ex minister no less. That's what you call truly great service, and let's not forget, this was at no cost to myself.
I joined this site because it advertised market research opportunities. It is nothing of the kind. I’m unsure if they are trying to be a Martin Lewis type site without the integrity or if it’s a front to sell financial products. Either way, I was lured into joining under false pretences. If they have to lie about what they do, they are not trustworthy. Avoid!
Very informative and entertaining weekly round ups by Holly. Love this site.
Clear, pragmatic, interesting and fun! Hollys commentary and blogs are engaging and a welcome contrast to the often dry commentary of others
It might be good, I had hopes, but having signed up to subscribe to updates, emails and every other contact, I get an email that promises information. But then I have to input my e mail address again and then wait for a 6 digit code to arrive by email. Life's too short for this. Just give me the information in the first email please.
Access to the information is too complicated and takes too long.
No only does Holly know what she's talking about in the world of investing, but she's very, very funny too! Thanks for the weekly belly laughs Holly.
Insight to invests, economy and company news. Great work!! 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🍷🍷🍷👊✌️
I read the weekly write-up and like the tone and humour, but I'm not moving anything from my advisor yet, even though he does seem to make more than I do out of my money.
Up to date, every day, practical financial tips and education served up with a great sense of humour, some puns, honestly & transparency. ❤
Boring Money is down to earth and practical. I recommended it to my Cambridge Investors group and had to stop them being chauvinists ! Holly is honest – no hype or ramping - and always interesting. If this review gets to her , here’s an idea . your may gain some marketing advantage by linking with a chunk of the Investment groups in the country - some just exchanging ideas & tips and some actually collectively investing. I’ve been in both. (The Proshares set up is obtuse and now seems to be off-line.) Holly - I am an ideas person , so if you want to talk over the above do make .contact John Abbott
Hollys blogs are a breath of fresh air in the crusty old financial world. She gives a great insight into the money market and makes me laugh to boot. Brilliant.
The site has loads of information and reviews of financial products and to me seems to me and agreed site for novices and the more experienced investor.
It's an interesting and informative read (and quite amusing).
Holly tells is how it is. Useful and sensible financial advice with a dash of humour - what's not to love?
Clear and useful financial advice that’s easy to understand
