The site was surveyed, and date/price agreed. The engineers arrived on time and date. They covered the floor area with sheets and commenced work. Thet left mid afternoon with the boiler producing hot water. The electrician came two days later to fit the thermostat. There was a minor hick- up with the board not working but a replacement was sourced and fitted.

Super prompt response from the three companies as promised by BoilerGuide. All three companies gave me immediate appointment for inspection and estimates. I am impressed.

We contacted boiler Guide by email, within five minutes there was a phone call from them. The young man was very efficient, he asked a few questions of what we were looking for in a gas boiler. At the end of our conversation he advised us that we would receive three phone calls from three different companies. We had our first call within ten minutes. Overall quick, efficient and knowledgeable.

Using Boiler Guide, I was quickly put in touch with three companies, all of whom quoted for my job and I felt I would have been well-served by whichever company I chose. This really takes away the worry of finding yourself with a cowboy plumber. There was also follow up to make sure I was happy with the job done.

JRM Gas and Plumbing gave us a quick qoute which was fully inclusive but currently we came to the conclusion that spendng approximately £5k for a boiler that uses electric that is around 250% higher than gas didn't make sense even though we are environmentally minded.

Promised 3 companies would contact me.By mid afternoon,i had one estimation and two arranged visits. It doesn`t come much better than that!!

Excellent site for finding reputable engineers. The internet can be overwhelming but boiler guide provided us with 3 quotes and we chose one to install a combi boiler. Certainly helped that they had reviews by real people.
