I do not understand all of the bad reviews. If you do not like their return policy, then don't buy their product. I have had nothing but good experiences with Bloomscape. Even when things go wrong, which they will when you ship things that are living, they bend over backwards to fix it. No. They are not Amazon. But thank God for that. Keep doing what you are doing, Bloomscape. Your customers see your value, and we know that what you are doing is hard. If you are ever lucky enough to have Kit C. help you out, count your lucky star. That person should manage every customer service department in existence. Amazing.

Not sure why all the shade… This company and the people are so amazing!! So helpful and kind, and I love my purchase!! I will definitely be gifting more plants now, and certainly getting more for myself as well!

This is an amendment to a previous recent review. I never did get the plant I ordered and the watering can was damaged, when received. But, customer service was great. They were prompt and refunded my money. Therefore, even though it was a headache, and the shipping department is inept, the customer service representative was helpful. I added an star to my previous review because of this.

I don’t understand the low rating here? Not only did the plants I ordered arrive in perfect condition but one that got delayed in transit and arrived in pretty poor condition was replaced immediately, no questions asked. Thank you again Alex D. For taking care of me!

This is the best plant company on the internet. I have sent it multiple times for birthdays, Valentine's Day, and funerals. I always get a positive response and usually a comment about how well it is shipped and packaged. The quality of plants is second to none. Recently my credit card company screwed up and then tried to tell me to dispute the charge when it was NOT Bloomscape's fault. When I explained what Citibank said, Bloomscape went ahead and fixed it on their end so that I would not have to bear the burden. Love the company and their customer service.

I take exception from the fuss with customer service. Although my Mother’s Day gift was not up to par, when I reached out to them, they were most helpful in resolving my issue. Am hopeful to get my replacement in a timely fashion, but I’m not concerned since I’ve had good interaction so far.

Beware the limited return period. They have a 14 day return period - which includes holidays and holiday weekends. Customer service takes a long time to respond. And there is no flexibility - I tried to return a gift 16 days after it was delivered, but to no avail.

Very bad business, don’t buy from Bloomscape! They didn’t ship the plant I ordered, then after I asked to cancel the order they printed a shipping label, but didn’t actually ship the plant and told me they wouldn’t cancel the order because it was being shipped. Company has fraudulent business practices, poor customer service and makes no effort to remedy the situation when they fail to deliver!

To date, 5/12/22, I have requested help four times from Bloomscape regarding the receipt of a damaged tree that I purchased as a gift on 4/24/22. Having received the damaged plant on 5/3, I completed and sent a help request via Bloomscape’s customer contact form [provided on Bloomscape’s site] along with 16 pictures uploaded as proof of the damage. Since that initial help request on 5/3, I have sent the same information, pics, and request for help 3 additional times—on 5/4 to growhow@bloomscape, on 5/9 to support@bloomscape and most recently again on 5/12. As well, I left a message on their answering service. I paid a premium price for the tree I ordered and what I received was neither healthy nor close to what was visually presented on the Bloomscape website. In fact, the damaged plant I received was actually sickly and painful to look at and continues to drop leaves daily. As a result, I am very unhappy. To have been ripped off and then ignored by Bloomscape’s customer service is insulting, to say the least. As a final note, I have been a loyal customer of Bloomscape, purchasing five plants in total since late 2021. Out of the five plants purchased, the two most recent purchases this year have been delivered damaged. So that’s enough for me… I'm done. Bloomscape is simply not worth the money or the effort it takes in seeking their help. Additional: I have just received a response [shown below] that someone from Bloomscape has tried to contact me but I have not received any emails and there has been nothing in my spam folder... please resend and be certain to check my proper email address. No one has contacted me to date but ironically, I keep receiving Bloomscape's promotional emails. Update: I received my money back in full for the damaged plant but adding insult to injury, the plant had fungus gnats that I am still battling to this day. Needless to say, I will never purchase another plant from Bloomscape.

Firstly, I paid $15 for expedited Mother’s Day shipping. Before the cutoff. It arrived a day late anyway, Monday, so missed the deadline, but also, the plant was completely destroyed. There is no phone number so I’ve sent in their online form, emailed them and sent Facebook messages for the last 2 days and absolutely NO response! Absolutely SHOCKING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I ordered 2 hanging plants for Mother’s Day. I even paid for quick shipping. Neither my mom or mother-in-law received the plant. I emailed support about both orders and did not hear back. Update: bloomscape refunded me on both orders. I appreciate their quickness on rectifying this.

I ordered a hanging basket for my mother for Mother’s Day. It was delivered yesterday. It was a huge disaster! The box was delivered on its side with soil coming out even though the box says this side up. The plants were crushed. The bamboo stick that would keep it in place was hanging loose. On top of that was your website. When I tried to file a claim it would not let me submit. I was very excited about your website but am wary now. I am hoping for a happy outcome. I sent an email with photos yesterday but have received no response. Now I’m struggling to send something to my mom from out of town by tomorrow. Disappointed is an understatement!

The plant was never shipped. They don’t have phone customer service. Their response was a standard apology, with no tracking or indication when the order would be shipped. After about two weeks, I tried to cancel the order —- no response. I finally had to reject the payment through dispute resolution on my credit card. Worse customer service of any online retailer.

Abysmal customer service and they will not cancel orders, even when attempted immediately. We purchased a "mother's day plant" only to be told after the purchase was completed that it would not ship until a week after mother's day. We submitted a cancellation request within minutes. We followed up with a separate email to customer service - since they do not take phone calls. We were told that the order could not be cancelled since it was already being processed - even though it apparently isn't shipping for over a week. This makes no sense given the fact that we requested the order be cancelled within minutes after completing the purchase. Do not order from this company. They are deceptive and just want to take your money and it doesn't appear they will process cancellations at all.

Edited to say they were very fast to grant my refund and they auto-sent a letter explaining why and offering a little credit toward a future purchase. Thank you Kristen! Just another company very quick to process your payment and then full of well-meaning excuses why they can't ship when they promise. My order #770732 is still processing today (Sunday), when it should have sent "within" the week that just ended. It seems customer care tried, they responded fast to me at least. This isn't a complaint about them or even the shipping/packing guys. I'm sure people work hard and simply don't have the right resources or policies company-wide to make good on the expectations they set. Another late gift and dissapointing service I'll never try again.

My plant was shipped upside down, so it was a total mess. Bloomscape didn't care. The plant also had fungus gnats. Don't recommend.

This company pretends to be local - do not be misled unless you are in Michigan they are not. They say they ship in 2-6 days - or sooner. What they mean is 6 days to prepare and 7 days to ship - again misleading. They are expensive and completely uninterested in the fact that they are conning customers. Buyers beware.

Emailed several times for CS support, no answer. Finally found a number to call and when I got through I was told, "we do not currently offer customer service by phone, please feel free to email us" I emailed the 7th, 11th & 14th prior to ordering. No order number.

I love all of my Bloomscape plants! They make it super easy for me to get fresh plants to my home. The convenience and access to help when I need it is great!

These people want you to think it's OK for them to take your money, hold it for 10+ days, and not provide any tracking information. They delayed a gift beyond the day I needed it, and showed absolutely zero remorse. Their whole "hey, we might not ship this if the weather is bad" thing is a giant lie. They don't actually have the product when they sell it to you, so they use that time to find a plant for you. This was a business dreamed up in some college kid's head and funded with daddy's money. Unless you're into pain and suffering, I would avoid doing business with bloomscape.
