Edges had a very poor finish due to chipping/tearout. It was the finish I would have expected if I had cut the pieces myself on a tablesaw and why I ultimately chose to get it "professionally" cut.

Needed 4 pieces of clear Acrlic Perspex to reglaze a summerhouse after buying some sheets from a well known dit store & attempting to cut it myself only to find it shatters very easily, Went online, found Bay Plastics, rang up at 16:30 on Wednesday, discussed what we required, sizes etc. Gentleman was very helpful. Went to collect Thursday morning at 09:30. Gentleman at the counter again very helpful & friendly. Sheets fit perfect & were crystal clear, almost as if they were invisible & were cheaper than the diy store, who I now need to visit to get a refund on the unused sheets. … use the experts, Bay Plastics .

I ordered some opaque white and UV clear acrylic sheet for a small project, seven pieces in all. The size and price calculator on the product page was very useful. Each piece was cut neatly and accurately to the ordered sizes with no damage or defects. The whole package was well protected in bubble wrap. Delivery was quick and the courier cost reasonable. I don't buy plastic sheet very often, but should I need to again I will certainly look first to Bay Plastics.
