AQ-5300.55 Terrible installation experience caused by a faulty stage 1 filter. Symptom was zero water flow. After fully installing the filter, I had to disasemble each plumbing connection to identify a fault in the filter. There was no troubleshooting guide in the installation manual. Aquasana telephone support was closed at 4PM Pacific time so I could not contact them until a day later. The next day the support person walked me through a diagnostic procedure. I was told to place a "quarter" inside, on the bottom of the #1 prefilter. Then reinstall the filter. This "fixed" the issue. The agent told me the prefilter was defective and they would send me a new one. I was told they would need 3 to 5 business days to ship it out and them 7 business days for it to get here. A 2 week wait for them to get me a fix. Aquasana, apparently, places no priority on getting a replacement part to its customers. It takes its own sweet time. Also, based on the agent's total familiarity with the issue, Aquasana is very aware of the defect, yet it makes no effort to fix the issue in its sales chain, nor to warn customers, nor to include any kind of online installation assistance. Terrible product quality issue. Terrible precustomer and new customer support. Terrible priority given to getting a fix out to customers in a timely manner. Also, the owner's / installation manual completely omits any reference to the battery.

I bought my under sink unit from a Canadian website which never mentioned anything about prices being in usd or products being shipped from the USA. Now my filters must be shipped from Texas to Canada and the brokerage doubles the price. Do not buy this product unless you're in the USA. You're price will double at a minimum if you do. You also will not be able to buy the filters at any stores. Huge disappointment 😞

Do not use this company. After four years the filter fell apart. Flooded my basement. Took four months and stress from the company to replace it. Had to send back the unit for testing. They sent a replacement and it was leaking immediately. Buyer beware

On the surface, this looks (and likely is) a good product, but I have been trying to get replacement filters for 4-6 months with no success, being told time and again that there are "problems with shipments". If I cannot use the device, what's the point in it? Aquasana UK service has been appalling.

Aquasana customer service sucks. Each time I needed help and called for support no one picked up the phone. And the the music on hold gos on for hours. I will take my business elsewhere. Where I will be appreciated.

Like they say in court. This is truth and whole truth so help me.... I ordered a "Replacement" 300000 gallon filter. After i removed the old system to install the new, the connectors from my current unit do not fit new one. The inept sales woman did not ask how old my unit was , or suggest I needed new connectors, or send new connectors. Just a stupid woman order taker. After I call customer service- Ruben tells me he will EXPEDITE the order for the parts. I asked Ruben what does EXPEDITE mean, and before he would answer, transfers me to the sales so I can talk to the supervisor of the INEPT order taker. Instead I am put into a recorded survey. WHAT A JOKE. What does EXPEDITE mean? In the email it says UPS GROUND. 3-6 days. This is how Ruben takes care of a customer for their screwup. Ruben was told the old system was leaking, I pulled it out to replace with new, yet his help was terrible and didnt care. Luckily I was smart enough not to give old filter to garbagemen passing the house.... just in case. I had to call back to get the part 2 day shipping (not 1) , and "maybe" it will be shipped today. What a terrible, mooch company to deal with.

I bought the Aquasana Whole House Rhino filter system a year ago. I did have trouble finding a qualified plumber to install it, and that was pretty expensive, but after it was installed, it made a huge difference, I can see just how well it works when I change the filter which captures a lot of brown debris. I like that it is salt free and doesn't harm my plants. There is one thing you need to know. The plastic pressure relief piece is very flimsy. The o-ring came out of mine and the plastic disintegrated when I tried to tighten it with a screwdriver to stop the water spewing. I had to wait for business hours to reach customer service. This part can't cost 10 cents, but it is not available to purchase as a spare and the filter will not work without it. Aquasana sent me one for the cost of shipping. I buy my replacement filters in a subscription and cannot understand why they would not include this spare with the subscription. You can relieve the pressure by turning the water off and draining the faucet. I will be doing that in the future. Aquasana - step up and add this part to your filter subscriptions.

Do not buy Aquasana under sink system as it leaks--(twice in less than a year) very poor product quality! believe all the reviews I ignored about it leaking. mine leaked brand new, they sent replacement parts, now less than a year later, it is leaking again at filter change at a different location! I formally recommended aquasana when I rented and had a countertop system/water for life as the customer service was great, but now no more! dont risk the headache, inconvenience of being without filtered water for at least 2 weeks, and risk of flooding, and extra shipping fees for replacement parts, that you then have to pay to have installed. I called aquasana back as I have no idea why I should call them and they didn't know why I should call them either.

I have been using the Aquasana under-sink filter that comes with its own small faucet for two years and we are really happy with it. The quality of my well water is very good - and I have a UV filter for potential biological contaminants - but I still wanted an end-point filter for drinking water that removes any trace lead from the pipes. I signed up for the water for life auto-subscription to save on shipping & always have a backup supply of filters; I even paused the subscription one time without any problem. I’m surprised people have such negative reviews but personally I think a whole-house system is a big undertaking that you should only purchase through an established local business that will work with you from start to finish. For a smaller sink-mount water filter, this has been great for us.

Sales Woman named Lulu was extremely Rude and didn’t even ask what I wanted cut me off mid sentence. She also didn’t really help me when all I was trying to do is buy the product. When sales people don’t do a good job it’s a clear reflection of there company

This company is one of the most poorly run companies around. We have had our system for about 4 years and it has been a problem off and on in those 4 years. their water for life cost a ton of money and if your house is 2200 square feet or more , the system needs frequent filter change; it is difficult to get adequate water in your house for sinks and system can not handle the muti pressure issues at the same time. The people at customer service are nice enough but do not follow through with what they say they will do; good luck in getting your invoices once they charge your credit card. So beware in any purchase of such a system. The idea of clean and purified water is what we all want; if you have a good company to work with you on that goal. It is not Aquasana!!

OMG... do not waste your time nor your money. This is the biggest scam you can ever come across. This is a money pit as well. The quality is the worse. I have had this system for two years now and I do not want the same thing that happened to me to happen to anyone else. Do not fall for the crap 60% sale they do. It is all BS. You will absolutely learn to hate everything about this water system. It is a freaking nightmare in every sense of the way.

Beware of CleanH2o. It’s operated by the salesman selling the filter to you. He has created an alias to conceal the facts. Proceed with caution as he is not a plumber and claims to have been in property maintenance. Which is extremely misleading as I know it to be a fact he was picking up trash for apartments. His plumber will be found on Craigslist Aqua sana is full of deceit

I'll be as fair as I can... The most unprofessional customer support I have ever received is from Aquasana.

In my Opinion: We spent several thousand dollars buying Aquasana Equipment because they told us they could take care of the Lime (calcium) build up in 2016. We trusted them, I complained that it wasn't working and it didn't remove the lime etc. Now it's 10/18/2022, I'm DONE with them, I just spent $2400 to replace our Electric 80 Gal Hot Water Heater FULL of Calcium, NO MORE NO MORE wasting my money. I am going back to a water Softener that will do the job. I want my MONEY BACK you lied to us over and over and treated us very rudely.

I bought an Aquasana 5300 under sink and did not have as much water flow as advertised. I bought replacement filters and only got a dribble of flow. Called customer service and was told that they had a shipment of filters that were a little short and I needed to put a quarter under the filter. I got a fair flow but what’s wrong with this picture? I bought another set of replacements and the same story. I’m done with this company.

I bought the Rino whole house system with Salt-Free Water Conditioner, UV and pro kit back in 2017. Have had zero issues with my system. I was at first a little annoyed that my water still left spots, but later learned that no water softener actually removes the calcium/magnesium, it just changes the chemical composition or electrical charge to prevent limescale buildup in appliances and lines. My water as tested with a ZeroWater wand still shows 100 compared to 500 without filtering. I used by last replacement filter so time to order again After seeing a ton of bad reviews I am hoping that Covid19 didn't break Aquasana like it appears to have broken everything else in society.

Bought a countertop unit in 2020. Filter helped improve water quality quite a bit. But months later, it started a trickle leak out of the top. Customer service was very helpful & replaced the unit. 6/7 months later, that one started to leak out the top too. They replaced that unit under the 1yr warranty. Got my third unit. That unit does not stop running. It filters the full pitcher of water but keeps running until I pull out the pitcher. Then the spout contributed to drip another 2-3 oz of water so I set the pitcher in a position to catch the dripping water but off vector so the pump won’t run. Customer service was very very helpful but I choose to live with the faulty device — I get clean water but without leaks all over my kitchen counter. Just inconvenience of placing the pitcher in a specific location on the device to capture dripping water.

I had the whole-home system for a few years. Initially, it worked well, but after a couple of years times, the system started leaking and parts broke. Aquasana was quick to replace the broken parts, but each time, a plumber had to come and fix the problems, which Aquasana does not pay for.

Once you buy the filtration unit, they claim to have a great “SITEWIDE” sale on their filters (like, why would you buy another filter system when you have just bought one!) The replacement filters are NEVER INCLUDED in the ‘SITEWIDE SALE’ and they’re very expensive!!!!!
