No water flowed through. Uninstalled and called for a refund and they were going to make me pay for the return unless I reinstalled the whole thing. So much for a "no questions asked return". Would have been half the cost of the item to ship back the non-working item to them. Also, the parts are made of plastic including the water flow from the filter to the faucet. And yet supposedly filters microplastic? Scam.
I wish I read these reviews before I bought a unit. Nowhere on their website does it say US Dollars? And I had to pay almost double between the exchange rate and duties and taxes, and they didn't seem to care. I'm worried now reading about all the problems, people have with their product. And if I didn't see a warning on your website, then it wasn't obvious
This company has turned into a disaster! I've had Water for Life for >15 years. Last few years the water flow on new filters was poor. But we have now reached the point of unacceptable. I spent >1 hour waiting for a rep to "troubleshoot." She told me to take out the coin another rep said would fix it, and to call back if it didn't help. It didn't help. At all. I call back. Wait another hour. I finally try the call back option, only to have them disconnect the instant I pick up the phone. And then they close for the weekend. It takes 15 minutes to fill a tea kettle. Edited to say: I searched the internet for answers, because I need water. Found you can put a straw in one canister and it works, at least temporarily. But the real question is How can they continue to run a business with a broken product and lousy customer service!?
We have had a unit for 5 years and it always worked "OK" - not great, but OK. Now I put the new filters in and they leak like crazy all over the inside of the cabinet. The "fix" from what I am reading online is to put a quarter (or 2) under the filter (great quality control there). That isn't fixing the issue. I have completely soaked two towels trying to get this to work. This is the last straw for this system. They keep raising the price for the replacement filters and they can't keep the quality so this doesn't happen? At $75 for 3 filters it ought to be better than this. I'm done! I will be pulling this out and replacing it with something else. Back to buying jugs of water until I can get a replacement put in.
I purchased this product which was recommended by my plumber. Two days after the installation a cheaply made piece broke and flooded my basement. I had to pay for an emergency call to a plumber who looked at the piece and said he couldn't believe they had even used something so cheaply made. I see other reviewers are having the same problem. Our water is still cloudy, and I'm at the point where I want to have the system removed and just go back to having a water service deliver water. The flooding damaged wiring, and our wall and shot water ten feet into the air, destroying our wifi router as well. Horrible product, very sad I purchased this POS.
Had an easy to remove part off of our Aq-5300 undersink system crack. It's a flimsy plastic part that the canister plugs into and probably cracks often. This part is obviously meant to be removed as 4 small screws hold it in. However, they don't sell the part (which would probably be a $2 part) and instead charge you for an entire new manifold. Corporate greed strikes again.
I was interested but upon reading these reviews it is not going to happen. A few years ago I used Zero water product - it caused me to become dehydrated. I was extremely ill and had it not been for the nurses that questioned me I would have eventually just expired. I thought I was doing a good thing. I am 70 and all the bottles of water became plain silly. I am on a community well in an RV park. I'll stick with diligently making our local water company do their jobs. Our problem is the pistachio farmer here and some arsenic.
I paid USD$69,99 for a shower filter on February 22 and paid CAD$22.15 for taxes and duties at time of delivery on March 15. I did try to post this comment on their website, but they replied "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!"
I called today after having a problem with my shower filter for the fifth time. This is the second time the filter cracked on the bottom of the filter and sprayed water all over. I have had previous problems with parts cracking and spraying water all over. I have had issues with the shower head clogging up with carbon as well, there has always been carbon coming out of the shower head for all the years we have used them. I was told when I signed up for the water for life program it was a no questions asked policy to warranty the products and in the past it was. Now they want me to send them pictures and along with having to pay shipping for replacement products to replace faulty products it has just become to much of a waste of my time and money. I have been a customer for quite a few years and it seems lately the quality has really gone down hill. I will buy from another company that hopefully can sell me quality products that actually work!
I purchased a whole house water system and it worked great for a while. I replaced the post system filter again and it had black particles in it and the water was murkey. I contacted customer service, few days later they responded. Asked me to send them pictures. I did. Didn't hear anything so I reached out again and received a ridiculous run around email. It's supposed to have a 5 year warranty and I'm probably half way there. Terrible customer service. Don't buy aqua sana.
When I purchased the cartridges for the third and forth times, the output water became very small, so it made me thinking should I keep buying the cartridges every month. Very disappointed. I’m thinking to change other water filter.
Terrible company. They will be quick to take your call to purchase their product because they want money. Once you're their customer they're difficult tor reach. When you want to cancel your water filter subscription they conveniently make it so you have to call them and can't edit the subscription online. If that's not lame enough for their customer they WILL NOT give you a free return shipping label. You have to pay out of pocket for shipping to get your refund.
I have been using the Aquasana Shower filter and absolutely LOVE it. My hair and skin are softer and more hydrated!
I've encountered exceptionally poor customer service with Aquasana Europe. Unlike anything I've experienced in my business dealings before. I purchased a filter that was the wrong size and, upon realizing the mistake, I returned it at my own expense, hoping to exchange it for the correct size. However, I was informed that exchanges aren't offered; instead, I would need to place a new order and pay for shipping once again. This policy essentially forces customers to pay twice for shipping, once for the return and once for the new order, which seems unfair. When I discussed this issue with the sales manager, Sarah, I was met with a surprisingly aggressive and hostile demeanor, far removed from the professional customer service I expected. The lack of a formal complaint process and the inability to contact a supervisory department for customer support and sales are glaring issues. It appears there's a complete absence of courtesy and proper manners within this company's customer service framework.
Incredible!! Not just another company. We purchased a new home in Illinois and we had city water, not Chicago water which is fantastic, We could not drink the water we had to buy cases of water. Everything cooking endeavor had to be purchase water. We found Aquasana. & LuLu and what a difference in our life. This inexpensive complete water system was phenomenal. What a difference in our life now. Our Rep LuLu explained in detail and never pushed us. Very Knowledgable and helpful. This system is worth the value and it will change your life.
Wow. I called up Aquasana Europe to purchase the Rhino system but wanted to get more details on the product and get more information on top of what I had seen online. Unfortunately I spoke to two people who give me conflicting information, struggled to answer legitimate questions and concerns directly and spent their time arguing with me when I pointed these out and who were generally rude and dismissive. After this experience confidence in the quality of service they would provide so I didn't buy the product as a result.
I purchased a complete Aquasana deep well whole house system w/ UV light filter in 2020. Water softener did nothing to change hard water spots on shower doors, dishwasher or water appliances. Within a year it started clogging up. This is a closed loop system. There is no way for this system to flush contaminates from the media in the tanks. Aquasana even sent me another couple of big Blue tanks - the copper, zinc, mineral, activated carbon & Water softener filters. This changed nothing. Water spots continued and water quality/flow continued to decline. I changed all pre and post filters on schedule to no avail. I had to ditch this system in 2023 and install a Kinetico water treatment system but I kept the pre, post filter and UV filter light from Aquasana since Kinetico had almost the same thing. Now I have a great water treatment system that actually works and flushes the contaminants out of the media. Since I am a clean water freak, I put a small RO system under the sink for drinking & cooking water. Too bad I threw away so much $$ in the first place. I say get a comprehensive water analysis first to see if their Aquasana system will work for you over a period of years. Get everything in writing after submitting a complete water analysis. Aquasana may be good for exceptionally clean water coming in the house but not for average deep well or city water. Yes, the Kinetico has a salt based water softener and I have no problems with it at all. Love it!
New install - immediately sprung a leak flooding my basement. Filed damage claims with the company. They will not respond. Parts are flimsy UPDATE - 15 days later the company's only response is the part maker is responsible. Their damage control contact Christine Davidson - Christine Davidson is only harming the reputation of the company. DO NOT RISK PURCHASING FROM THEM
I bought one of their water filters before covid. I signed up for the WATER FOR LIFE in which they sent you a replacement filter every 6 months and if your machine breaks, it gets replaced. My machine broke during covid and they did not get more in and told me to keep calling. It is 2023 and I have been getting the filters’ charge of 25 dollars for 2 years in the hopes that I would get my new filter replaced. Aquasana informed me that it would not get back in stock now and they want to charge me full price for another filter, no discount and no regard for the 25 dollars that I have been getting charged every 6 months. I canceled my subscription and their customer service and manager did horrible. They boast about their EXTENDED PRODUCT WARRANTY FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR WARRANTY. But if the product is no longer held by them, they do not give you a discount or a free replacement for another product. Will never purchase from this company and tell my friends not to either. Wasted time on their customer service. Will not get my time back, my money back for the cartridges and no water filter. Horrible.
I have been with Aquasana for more than 4 years. Satisfied so far. They are loyal to old customers and havent raosed prices for water for life products for my tripple under sink claryum filter.
