About ai-camp.org

Founded by Stanford Ph.Ds, AI Camp (www.ai-camp.org) teaches the future of technology to middle and high school students, training them to become professionals, and placing the best to work for top technology companies. We aim to establish a different kind of higher education, one where students learn valuable knowledge and skills at work while avoiding crippling student debt. We want to return education to the apprenticeship model (learn-by-doing) that has worked for thousands of years. Our students craft impressive AI products with real-world applications, all of which are valuable additions to their resume and college application portfolio. We firmly believe that AI holds the key to the future, and we're committed to ensuring every student receives a comprehensive education in this transformative technology. Our mission is to open doors for our students and equip them to overcome any obstacles that come their way. We are only as great as the doors we open.

I really enjoyed Tenny's lecture series; she was interesting, curious, and very kind.

I feel that this camp was very interesting and opened up a field of science that I was not really thinking about before. The lectures were really thoughtful and I was able to grasp onto ideas rather quickly and easily. The last class talking about careers was really helpful, and although I still would describe myself as "driftwood" in a body of water, I did learn about a specific job and the certain perks and struggles which were also very (sorry for lack of a better word) interesting. I like learning about things that I do not quite know yet and overall this camp was a great learning experience for me.

I enjoyed this 3-class series as it was very helpful in terms of exposure to AI. While it was relatively short, I was able to grasp the base details of AI. The teacher also described the course material fairly well.

This series was very educational and provided concise and interesting information. I was able to get to know my peers and the information in just 3 days. Personally, I would have liked for there to be a little bit of basic coding. But even without it, this series was still very informative. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

I really enjoyed this lecture series, it was an amazing introduction to AI. It has inspired me to look more into not just AI, but also fields I'm interested in, and I even got to meet new people.

I found this lecture series to be very informative. It piqued my interest for the AI field and definitely kept me wanting to know more about deep learning. Tenny was really good at explaining concept topics like artificial neural networks in a manner that could be understood without knowing much about the topic. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience!

I thought that AI Camp was overall pretty great. To be honest if there was one thing that I think wasn't optimized too well it was screen sharing videos over zoom. Over screenshare the framerate of the videos were pretty low so sometimes it was a bit hard to view them.

I believe this camp is very helpful, and that you get to learn a lot of things about AI. From careers, what AI is, and how it works.

I hoped they would go into a little more detail about how ai is written in terms of the code, but overall it taught me the basics of ai and also many applications in the real world. Towards the end, the instructor also showed how using data can help find the most suitable career possible.

It was a little bit fast paced, but I really enjoyed it. I would definitely do it again, but if I could tell someone who is starting one tip, it would be to take notes on everything because it moves quickly. The instructor was amazing and great to work with. 5/5!

This class was very informative and made me think and consider careers other than AI. I also liked these classes because I learned how AI can be applied to things I never thought it could (choosing a major/career). In addition, I learned how AI works in different projects.

The class was mostly good. I really appreciate how it isn't just a lecture on AI and that the teacher encourages student participation. The last class, while insightful, wasn't exactly directly focused on the subject on AI.
