About ai-camp.org

Founded by Stanford Ph.Ds, AI Camp (www.ai-camp.org) teaches the future of technology to middle and high school students, training them to become professionals, and placing the best to work for top technology companies. We aim to establish a different kind of higher education, one where students learn valuable knowledge and skills at work while avoiding crippling student debt. We want to return education to the apprenticeship model (learn-by-doing) that has worked for thousands of years. Our students craft impressive AI products with real-world applications, all of which are valuable additions to their resume and college application portfolio. We firmly believe that AI holds the key to the future, and we're committed to ensuring every student receives a comprehensive education in this transformative technology. Our mission is to open doors for our students and equip them to overcome any obstacles that come their way. We are only as great as the doors we open.

I really enjoyed it! I went in thinking that it was going to be boring, but surprisingly, I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was really well paced and interesting. Usually, I don't like when videos are played in lectures, but the selection of videos was both intriguing and interesting. This is on the smaller side of things, but I really liked the design of the slides. They added a great touch to the whole series. The last thing I would like to say is that our instructor was amazing! I was engaged, and there was no reason not to listen!.

The overall experience was really nice, as there were many places for questions and they tried really hard to allow us to understand.

Stella Dong was a good instructor who shared the basics of AI. The presentations could have been more engaging with interactions. However, I am still not completely introduced to the world of AI and how it can be used hands-on.

I appreciated the general introduction and then deeper analysis into deep learning. Now that we reviewed careers I am more focused on my path. I would have appreciated resources for applying what we learned in deep learning to code.

I liked the informative lectures but I would've preferred less talking and more doing such as hands-on coding exercises.
