We have just had our sofa delivered: it is beautifully well made and extremely comfortable. Exactly as described. The sofa was delivered on time, and the company were helpful and efficient from order ( answering questions, sending samples) to delivery. Would definitely recommend

Good service and delivery but as yet very uncomfortable , I’m hoping they ‘relax’ a bit As I now have hip ache from sitting in what feels like hard cardboard

Purchased two sofas form this company mid 2017. Delivery was late but we did not mind. Sofas look good but on close inspection the leather appear a lot thinner than our previous chesterfield firm another company. We started to notice a mark on the arm of one of the sofas after a couple of months- the leather appeared to be laminating? Only on a small area about 60mm x 60mm we took photos and sent them to the company. The company informed us that they had spoken with the leather supplier in Italy and they suggested it could be wax coming back though the leather or maybe a reaction to some kind of skin cream??? We did not accept this and they sent a technician who carried out a rub test and a heat test which showed no signs of contamination? However the technical did say in his report that the cause was possible “ contamination “ the company forwarded the report and told us we must have spilled something in this area??? And that it was not a manufacturing issue? They appear to be under the impression that this is a satisfactory conclusion?? I have requested that they make good the faulty goods or refund my money. Unfortunately your technician was unable to determine what had caused the issue? As per his report he was unable to give the cause of the issue and for some reason ruled out s manufacturing issue? Taking the easy route by SUGGESTING contamination. As stated many times whilst in our position this has not occurred! Hence any contamination must have been caused during manufacture. Your suggestion that we should pay circa £500+ for you to repair this is totally unacceptable. As you have been informed I will be taking appropriate action to recover the cost of the sofa.

This company were a pleasure to deal with from placing order, right through to delivery! I ordered 2 sofas and they are absolutely beautiful, so well made and comfortable and the two delivery men were efficient, courteous and got the sofas in the room with ease (a fete I thought may be impossible). Well done *****

Sofa is absolutely perfect - we asked for some slight changes from the original design when we ordered and this was not a problem. However there was a lack of communication about progress with the order and we eventually phoned to be told that the sofa would be taken to the couriers on the next available slot. However this did not happen and we had a delay of over a week waiting for this to happen. Additionally the delivery address was initially wrong which I picked up when I read the invoice.

Two leather sofas delivered two weeks earlier than estimated. Good quality, great value and very stylish. Would recommend.

The chair was a 40th Birthday present for my husband. It is perfect and he loves it. Our only disappointment was that we asked to buy the throw it was displayed with in the showroom. We were told we couldn’t as it was a discontinued line. When we asked to buy the actual showroom throw we were told we couldn’t as it was needed for a display in an exhibition. We found this bizarre as there seems little point in continuing to display an item that can no longer be ordered. Staff weren’t very helpful with regard to this issue.

Great chair, great delivery service

We travelled from Portsmouth to Manchester to view the range of sofas and look at the various leather types. Because we have two chocolate Labradors it was important to scratch test the leather. The lady assistance was very helpful and we were able to see into the factory from the show room. The sofas are amazing nothing like anything available from chain/high street stores. Also the delivery men were fantastic and very polite.

Premium leather armchair smells and feels sumptuous. Just need my matching footstool now. Only slight downside is the castor legs weren't the same as illustrated online. Still fine all the same.

Awful product - design, colour, smell - the lot - and nothing like the (limited) pictures available on their website; abysmal customer services - unresponsive and dishnonest. Stay well clear!! This company should not be allowed to trade.

Would strongly suggest you look for another company if you are looking for a leather chair or sofa as my experience with The Chesterfield Company has been very poor. I ordered a Hudson Tub Chair on the 4th May 2017 from The Chesterfield Company. When ordering I was aware of the standard lead times of 8 to 9 weeks. So I was expecting my chair to arrive somewhere at the beginning of July. July came and I heard nothing from the Company. I contacted them by email on the 30th of June asking for an update and was told the chair would be built by the 10th July. The 10th July came and went and I rang the company again and sent them an email asking for an update. I got a response informing me the chair production was delayed and would come off the production line on the 14th August. This date came and went and heard nothing from the company and I had to contact again on the 19th August. Since that time I have rung the company on a weekly basis asking for an update. Have been told several times the chair is built, I will receive an invoice to indicate this, it is on the delivery van and I will receive a call from the couriers. Despite these assurances none of these things has happened, I still have heard nothing and will hear nothing unless I chase the company myself. It is now some 17 weeks since I ordered my chair. I have been repeatedly promised things would happen which have not and I have had to chase them repeatedly. The customer service has been abysmal! I cannot comment on the quality of the product as I have yet to receive it (don't know if it even exists!). I certainly would not recommend this company to anyone. There are a multitude of suppliers of similar products and I would strongly urge anybody to look elsewhere before you use The Chesterfield Company.

A comfortable good looking chair. The quality of the chair met our expectations and represents good value for money - especially purchased in the sale! Prompt and efficient delivery.

I spent some time looking online for " made to measure" sofas etc to fit a particular space. The standard items were all too big. The selection of sizes available in all the styles was impressive. The web site was easy to access and having been promptly sent leather samples, I ordered 2 , 2 seat sofas and a chair. All proceeded without a hitch and I was kept informed as required throughout. The costs, service and timescales were all good and the delivery was rescheduled to suit my circumstances. The actual delivery was v. professional with 2 friendly delivery men. no problem with this Co. or its products, which all met or exceeded expectations.

I purchased a sofa and chair "relic" leather. The furniture is beautiful and I an very happy with the purchase 😊however the colour differs significantly to the picture on site. I was very disappointed with the delivery as this was arranged and only the chair delivered with no explanation and after a further delivery date was given this then was cancelled leaving me without a sofa for a further3 weeks so very poor service and obviously paid for this poor service🙁

Pleased by the overall look and delivery. However chesterfield sofas still don't fix the cushions in place so the back and bottom cushions keep sliding around, so will have to stitch velcro to keep them in place.

I found The Chesterfield Company easy to deal with. There web site is clear and easy to use. They promptly and courteously replied to my queries and kept me informed of all the stages my order went through. My new arm chair was on schedule and of excellent quality, even more than I expected. I love it to bits. I would use them again, in fact I am considering ordering from them again already. The delivery men they used were also friendly, courteous, competent and communicated well keeping me informed of when they would be here.
