Excellent service beautiful chesterfield

I've purchased two sofas that were delivered on the 5th of March. There were no paperwork with the delivery to validate any warranty or to state the quality of the material. I am wondering if I've got ripped off by a fake company.

I purchased two wing armchairs after having a very bad experience with another company where I paid a lot of money for what was an inferior product. That made me wary of ordering but with being an english firm that I could always visit I risked it. There was no fuss just a conformation of my order telling me it would be several weeks before delivery. In due course I was informed that the chairs were ready and a couple of days later the shippers phoned and arranged delivery. The chairs were delivered as arranged,all the packing was taken away and the chairs are superb up to now.Comfortable and of good quality and hopefully made to last. The whole process from start to finish was simple and efficient and I would recommend the chesterfield company to anyone

Avoid like the plague! I ordered a sofa from the clearance as our Daughter needed it fast and loved one they had in stock. I paid £840 and was told it would be around 3 weeks max. Three weeks later, they called my Daughter to say they had lost the sofa! This was a 7.5 ft sofa...how do you lose that? So my Daughter has had to shop elsewhere...complete waste of time! I’d never deal with these cowboys again!

Customer services was excellent, and order to delivery was bang on. We love our sofa and would recommend 'The Chesterfield Company' for a lovely British made product. We'll done😊

We are now the proud owners of two very fine leather wing armchairs. They are well constructed, and the leather used is of a very high quality. The process of ordering them was very straightforward. Being bespoke, they took a while to be made, but the Company let us know when they had been completed. There was a slight problem with delivery, as we couldn't fit the chairs through any of doors! However, Chesterfield and their carriers sorted this out very flexibly, and the chairs were successfully delivered. They were VERY well packed to ensure they arrived in perfect condition. My wife and I would have no reservations about recommending Chesterfield to anyone. We have awarded 5 stars for this review, which is not something we do either lightly or frequently.

I honestly love my Sofa. It's fantastic and exceeds my expectations. You can see straight away that it's excellent quality and very well made. The price was very good too. Cheaper than some of branded retail stores and I love the fact this sofa is made in the UK. So supporting UK businesses and workers. I'm surprised when people go to furniture village etc. as you pay more for a poor quality sofa that takes longer to arrive since it has got to be shipped over from China... My mother has a branded leather sofa and straight off the bat mine is far better quality. It took eight weeks to arrive and delivery was super easy. I got a 4 hr time slot and the drivers got it in easily, took all the packaging away and put the feet on. Would 100% urge people to use this company.

Recently moved into our first home and wanted a quality chesterfield sofa for our living room. Absolutely love our choice. We purchased the Berwick Vintage sofa in Old Vintage Tan leather. It is well made and looks great in our period property. Delivery was good too. The reason for only being able to give 3 stars is because when we received our invoice, it mentioned castor feet which are not displayed with this sofa on their website and castors are something we very much disliked. I called straight away to notify the company and again on a separate occasion, to make doubly sure we would receive the nice turned feet which are shown on the website with this particular sofa. Both times, the friendly Customer Service team checked with production and reassured me that despite what it said on the invoice, we would definitely not receive feet with castors. In the end when the delivery arrived, two of the feet disappointingly had castors, so I made another quick call to Customer Service, who apologised and said there was an error at packing and they would send out two to match the others sent to us. A few days later, we received not two but four totally different feet from the photo I had emailed and also nothing like the photo on their website. The feet they sent us are clearly a totally different shape and style from those seen on their web page and a good two inches shorter in height which meant our sofa would be far too low to sit on. Especially for older family members. I called again and the Customer Service team asked me to email the details over and that they would inform the production manager in advance. I sent photos and a full explanation. The response was curt and simply said "I'm sorry but we can't I'm afraid. We've sent the correct feet which match your invoice paperwork and what all non-castor orders should be sent out on and therefore closed the case on the packing error. We wouldn't be able to send an alternative foot I'm afraid." A far cry from the wonderful experience we were having right up until this person stepped in and basically ruined our view of the company. After spending over £1,300 of our money, we would've expected the correct feet as advertised and the obvious error to be resolved immediately. The response was shocking and we simply can't quite believe it! From a trading standards point of view, the advert online and in their brochure is totally misleading and the service at the end with no resolve is ridiculous. Our money has been taken and we are now left to search online to find suitable feet which we will have to purchase on top of what we have already spent. Total disbelief!

Second time we have got a Chesterfield sofa or chair and we are so pleased with the quality, price and customer service.

Excellent quality! Was very pleased with my lovely new sofa and chair. It’s beautiful, when it was delivered they unpacked it and took all the rubbish!

After doing a lot of research online on Chesterfield sofa, we came across The Chesterfield company. We had a browse through the online site and we was able to request some sample swatches. We decided to make a visit to the show room so we could really have a look as I was unsure about purchasing from online and broucher pictures. We drove from Birmingham to Manchester last Saturday and arrived their, the site is easy to find and has parking. We browsed through the many Sofa's within the show room, and we loved that there is a viewing area where you can see items being made. Both of the staff members there were very at tentative to my fussy needs, despite changing my mind a fair few times they both remained professional and were full of knowledge about the products. We decided to purchase the sofa of our choice, along with the extra care which was explained in full a number of times by the male assistant. We didn't feel pushed or trapped into making this purchase and it was a decision that we made on our own, there was no hard selling techniques, no feeling of being forced into a sale and no one following you around the show room. Both staff members were brilliant. I would highly recommend The Chesterfield company if you are thinking at getting a Chesterfield sofa, pay them a visit and you will be glad you did. I'm so looking forward to getting our new sofa soon.

Bought a chesterfield sofa from this company under 6 months ago. Initially very happy, but the springs have now broken twice, with very light use (first time being only after a few weeks of use). I allowed the repair the first time, but now it has broken again. The company want to continue to repair the sofa, I have asked for a replacement. They ignored my emails until I complained on social media. For the price I paid I expected a quality product, which would last many years, but two repairs in 6 months ?? My old DFS sofa lasted 12 years.....

Brilliant quality product, delivered on time and at reasonable price

Sofa is lovely very well made, good quality leather and should last many years. Great value compared to well known high street shops. The only issue we had was the length of time it took to receive the sofa. However once it finally arrived we were pleased with our choice.

The best chesterfield I have ever set my eyes on. Arrived few weeks earlier than I’d expected. Can’t find a single flaw.

Just what I was looking for. I've been after a Chesterfield chair for years but couldn't justify the price, then this one came up in the factory clearance . It's supposed to be a second as they were not happy with the antiqueing on the leather but I can't find anything wrong. Delivery was ahead of the advertised lead time and I was given a day and a 4 hour delivery slot. The two men that delivered it were very careful. They unpacked it and removed the packaging. Could ask for better service.

The sofas look so elegant in my house! Took a while but so well worth the wait! Will shop again

I am happy with our “downtown “ leather sofa though it took longer than originally suggested. I would have liked to be supplied with care advice at the time of delivery.

Beautiful leather sofas and they were ready much quicker than I expected. They are much nicer than expected, excellent value. Would recommend
