Sold my old Pixel which had a broken headphone port. Didn't expect to get much so was pleased with what I received for it. All over and done with in just over a week.

This website recommend sellphone24 with 5 starts. Stupidly I trusted their 5 starts, this was unwise and untrue. Wasted my time! Don't trust their website.

i wish i had read the reviews on here before using sellmymobile.com! i went to sell my iphone 7 32gb to sellphone24/handtec but they more then halved the price because of a small scratch. do they expect the phone to be brand new?! extremely frustrated to say the least! anyway, beware guys! this comparison website uses fake reviews for their recyclers. see below: sellphone24.co.uk this website has 2/5 stars instead of 5/5 which sellmymobile advertised! con merchants!
Used this website to compare prices for my old iphone. Found out (after being defrauded by sellphone24) that sellmymobile use fake trustpilot reviews on their website which is why sellphone24 came up at the top of the search offering the highest price. Unfortunately after reading reviews, this isn't the first time this has happened and doubt it will be the last. Sellphone24 actually have a number of trustpilot accounts. There highest rated is handtec.com which is actually their retail sales website and not they're recycling website (which sellmymobile advertise on their website). I am certain sellmymobile are aware of this from looking at other reviews further down this page. However, they don't seem to have taken action with sellphone24 so I presume they are working together to defraud users of their website. Disappointing is an understatement. I will certainly be taking this further to trading standards and other relevant authorities.
Very easy to use as a comparison site. Just be very careful about which offer to use - the companies that come out on top (e.g. Quick Mobile Fix) are awful and their Truspilot are blatantly fake. When I had the inevitable issue of actually getting paid for the phone I sent SellMyMobile did actually help by emailing Quick Mobile Fix. SellMyMobile should do more due diligence on the companies being recommended as Quick Mobile Fix is a disgrace and a cursory check on Twitter, Facebook or indeed Trustpilot along with the complaints they are getting must make this fact obvious.
Awful comparison site - seemingly they don’t check out the companies they advertise or take any responsibility for the service or lack thereof said companies provide. If e- mailed they either don’t reply or come back with standard text “Sellmymobile is a comparison website, please deal directly with the recycling company you sold to. Thanks!” 100% Try another site or end up with no phone & no money.
Had a good experience with sell my mobile. I emailed to ask whether my phone was working or broken and they explained the difference clearly (it was broken because of the cracked screen) :)
Sold my phone and got the £110 i saw on the website
i used sellmymobile to see what price i could achieve for my used phone as i had just got an upgrade. sellphone24.handtec.co.uk had come out with the best price and had 4 out of 5 stars ...which at the time i believed was good so i decided to trade my phone in with this company. recycling package arrived within 2 days so i packed and sent off within the same day it arrived. a few days later i was shocked to see the original price was knocked by over 80%. the phone had a tempered glass to protect the screen and a gel case to protect it from any knocks so was in excellent condition! baffled by this, i knew this couldn't be right so i asked for my phone back ...and what do you know, my phone was in excellent condition! i was absolutely shocked handtec.sellphone24 had received 4 out of 5 stars by sellmymobile! more like 1 out of 5!! i wish i had read the reviews on trustpilot before using this website! sellphone24.handtec.co.uk have a trustpilot rating of 1/5 stars! sellphone24.co.uk have have a trustpilot rating of 2/5 stars! so sellmymobile.com, where did you get the rating of 4/5 stars?????? scammers, do not trust!!!
Didn't even know you could get decent money for old phones. It was quick and easy service and after shopping around i definitely got the best price. Would use again.
Great customer service
sadly i had a bad experience using sellmymobile.com. i sent my phone to sellphone24.handtec.co.uk which was in perfect condition, only to realise they sent me a revised price of almost half the quoted price! after doing some digging, i realised that sellphone24 have bad trustpilot reviews with a rating of 2/5 stars but on sellmymobile, they are rated 4/5 stars ...appalled at how sellmymobile represent companies on there website. if i had known this, i would have sent my phone to a more reputable company.
They are allowing companies with absolutely horrendous trust pilot ratings show up at the top of their searches. They have a duty of care to their customers and unfortunately they are steering us towards criminals. Feels like they might be receiving 'incentives' for these ratings rather than using any criteria which benefits the customer. Do not use their comparisons and especially not Sellphone24 aka Handtec
Sold two iPhones with smashed screens now via sell my mobile and got a really good price for them both. You get a list of companies on their website so it’s up to you who you choose. I went with love phone as I’d read good reviews about them and was glad I did. The transfer was so fast! Money in my bank within 3 days. I Can only imagine the people who have left bad reviews must have chosen a different company on sellmymobiles site to send their handset to. Don’t nessasarily go with the highest price. My friend did and got a text saying the phone had water damage and tried offering her a rediculous price. I’ve only dealt with love phone and will continue to do so.

Be very wary of searching on this site as it results in being inundated with spam emails from 'Alex' despite being asked to stop!
A truly dishonourable company. They say they will double the difference if you find a better offer for your phone - which I did @game. I put my claim in - only to have it denied. Various ridiculous emails from a robot like employee - claiming this / that / and the other loop hole. I would recommend you steer well clear of this company as I will be in the future.
